Today, D-Robotics announced the close of a $400 million Series C round. The round was led by the internationally renowned investment firm Mirae Asset Group, with participation from multiple top-tier institutions and continued increases from many existing shareholders.

In the first half of 2026, D-Robotics' revenue grew several-fold year over year, and cumulative shipments of its Sunrise-series chips surpassed 8 million units. Its embodied intelligence business has entered mass-production-scale shipping, and its integrated software-hardware infrastructure has been validated at scale.

Linear Capital, the earliest investor in D-Robotics, has doubled down in every subsequent round.

On September 17, D-Robotics announced the close of a $400 million Series C round. The round was led by the internationally renowned investment firm Mirae Asset Group, with participation from internet giant Meituan Strategic Investment; government investment platforms including Hefei State Investment, Shenzhen Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment, and Jingquan Capital; and other top-tier institutions such as Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde Investment Management, Beyond Moore, and the Xinchuang Phase II Fund under Qihang Investment.

Existing shareholders continuing to increase their stakes include Hillhouse, 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, Huangpu River Capital, Temasek-backed Vertex Growth, Prosperity7, Hermitage Capital, Yunfeng Capital, Meituan Longzhu, Joyoung Family Office, Dunhong Capital, Kailian Capital, Boiling Point Capital, Unity Ventures, Monad Ventures, Digital Future, and Gengxin Capital.

The new funding is aimed at strengthening the full compute-range product lineup of the Sunrise chips and building an end-to-end software platform spanning data collection, model training, simulation validation, and inference deployment. With integrated software-hardware infrastructure for embodied intelligence, D-Robotics aims to serve the full spectrum of development needs — from mature product categories to general-purpose humanoid robots — and power the coming explosion of robot categories.

Behind this commercial acceleration is concentrated adoption by leading customers. Since its launch in November 2025, the Sunrise S600 — with its full-stack compute on a single chip, high-reliability hardware design, and unified edge-cloud toolchain — has been adopted by more than 20 leading customers within six months, including Tashi Zhihang, Spirit AI, Independent Variable Robotics, Zhizai Wujie, UBTECH, PaXini Perception, the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai), and Xiaoyu Zhizao.

Today, D-Robotics' customer coverage in the embodied intelligence sector has exceeded 50%. Sunrise S600 partnerships span humanoid robots, industrial wheeled platforms, flexible 3C manufacturing, embodied large models, and full-modal perception, with most projects already at mass-production-scale shipping.

As embodied intelligence accelerates into deployment across diverse scenarios, D-Robotics is becoming a critical foundation for the industry with its integrated software-hardware infrastructure — enabling more embodied intelligence products to move from technical validation to scaled production, and working with industry partners to bring the embodied intelligence sector to maturity.

D-Robotics' newly upgraded DGP Gravity Program is designed as an incubator for innovative robotics use cases and hit products, offering robotics startups full-chain support spanning product development, supply chain selection, go-to-market, and fundraising roadshows.

The program has so far served innovative companies including Lxson, Yinghansi, ZhiZhi Tech, Luobo Party, Sibowei Vision, Langji Intelligence, Qingyu, Xunling Tech, Tiaoyue Tech, and Ola Dimensions, covering ten frontier tracks such as open-source humanoids, AI sports coaching, embodied models, AI imaging, and home companionship. Multiple products have become representative hits in their niches with scaled production and shipping, and the ecosystem's innovation outcomes are now landing in rapid succession. Building on industrial practice, D-Robotics has created a full-chain growth system spanning education and incubation, maker enablement, innovation acceleration, and industry leadership. To date, more than 500 small and mid-sized makers, over 500 institutions, and more than 100,000 developers from over 20 countries worldwide have used the D-Robotics platform to create hundreds of intelligent robot products in various forms, serving millions of users globally.

As a company incubated by Horizon Robotics, D-Robotics has maintained close, all-around cooperation with Horizon Robotics in the robotics field, and the two are important strategic partners to each other. Going forward, D-Robotics will continue working with Horizon Robotics and its broader ecosystem of partners, using integrated software-hardware embodied intelligence infrastructure to accelerate more robot products from innovation to mass adoption — and to welcome, together, the era of the intelligent robot category explosion.
