Since the launch of Linear Bolt, we've received enthusiastic feedback from numerous founders and a steady stream of project applications through our backend — details here: The First Echo for AI Entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, at the AdventureX 2024 conference held in Hangzhou this July, we had the privilege of witnessing many exciting AI innovations. From among these outstanding projects, we carefully selected several founder applications and invited them to participate in the Bolt AI Demo Day.
On August 4, 2024, Bolt AI Demo Day took place at Linear Capital's Shanghai office. That day, more than ten AI founders from diverse fields presented their innovative projects, spanning vertical applications including code generation, 3D model generation, CG animation, automated marketing, graphic design, and health management.
At the outset of the event, Zeren Bai, Vice President of Investment at Linear Capital, outlined the purpose of Demo Day and introduced Linear Capital's AI investment initiative: Linear Bolt, a fund specifically designed for early-stage, global-market-facing AI applications. Grounded in Linear Capital's investment philosophy, it focuses on backing early-stage projects where technology drives transformative change.
The project demonstrations then officially began. Each participant had 10-15 minutes to showcase their product and share their creative vision, with ample opportunity for in-depth exchange and interaction with attendees. Unlike traditional pitch events, this Demo Day emphasized product demos — no scoring, no rankings — giving every founder more time to explain their product and the story behind its creation, fostering a more open space for creative exchange.
As the event drew to a close, we reserved time for on-site networking, encouraging founders to exchange ideas with investors and guests, sparking further product insights and opening up new possibilities.
This Bolt AI Demo Day revealed a wealth of innovative AI projects across multiple domains, and the young innovators building them. Linear Capital firmly believes that every budding idea shared here carries the potential to grow into a world-changing force. We hope this event serves as a starting point to accompany more founders on their journeys of unknown exploration and discovery.
