Linear Capital's π Program Recruiting: From Concept to Execution, Finding Best Practices for AI Agents | Linear Event

线性资本·October 27, 2025

Born from technology, evolved into its own school.

"Linear Tech π" is a new frontier-tech salon series from Linear Capital, designed as a hardcore discussion forum where founders and practitioners can exchange substantive, actionable insights.

Each edition will zero in on one industry pain point, bringing together veteran technical founders to cut through the noise and explore genuine solutions to real problems.

The inaugural "Linear Tech π" event will take place in Shanghai on November 2, with a focus on "Best Agent Practice." We invite you to register and join Linear in our mission: grounded in technology, forging our own path.

As the undisputed industry focal point of this year, AI Agent is redefining the boundaries of human-machine collaboration and reshaping how we understand productivity.

This year, we've seen the beginnings of resonance between AI Agent breakthroughs and commercial deployment. On the technology front, various agents have made strides in tool-use capabilities — from programming and browser operations to system-level interactions — integrating more efficiently into real-world environments.

On the application front, multimodal fusion and end-to-end empowerment have emerged as dual master narratives. Agents are no longer merely general-purpose tools; they're evolving into "intelligent partners" deeply embedded in specific scenarios. AI Agents are gradually penetrating every industry, beginning to tackle concrete real-world problems — whether automating workflows, supporting complex decision-making, or powering embodied intelligence. The technology has demonstrated genuinely disruptive potential.

Notably, as AI practices have deepened both domestically and globally, the industry has begun to see some convergence in exploration directions. From the early-year explosion of attention around representative Agent products, through a period of competing technical approaches, we're now arriving at a moment of tentative alignment. How do we move beyond fragmented information and toy-grade demos, guiding AI Agent from technical concept toward genuine industrial deployment? We believe the best learning comes from distilled, real-world battle experience.

That's why Linear Capital is launching the "Linear Tech π" frontier-tech salon series. As a technically grounded fund focused on frontier technology since our founding, we aim to create a high-quality forum for substantive exchange among founders and practitioners through the most rigorous discussion format possible.

The inaugural event will take place in Shanghai on November 2, focusing on "Best Agent Practice." No empty theorizing here — only hardcore case studies, validated development patterns, and face-to-face dialogue with top technical minds.

Among the questions we care about:

  • At the crossroads of architectural choices, how do you identify genuinely effective framework solutions?
  • Beyond code, how do you navigate missing ecosystem rules and complex scenario adaptation?
  • Within specific contexts, how do you pinpoint pain points that users will actually pay for?
  • Amid growth, what truly constitutes the next-generation intelligence paradigm?

For this event, we've invited four technically grounded speakers who will step outside parameter discussions to share vivid examples of how they've rooted AI Agents in their respective battlefields. This may be exactly what we need right now: a group of people crossing the river by feeling the stones, sharing the specific steps they're taking.

Meanwhile, Linear Capital Managing Director Can Zheng and Senior Director Zeren Bai will also share their perspectives on industry dynamics from a capital markets angle.

But what sets "Linear Tech π" apart is that speaker presentations will be capped at 1/π of total time, leaving the majority for participating technical practitioners. During the "Tech π Problem-Solving" segment, we'll offer six slots for attendees to pose a problem they're currently facing in their startup, work, or research — with one minute on the clock — for the room's technical minds to collectively tackle.

We welcome technical founders, practitioners, and researchers to scan the QR code on the poster below to register. Let's join with genuine practitioners to find direction amid the noise, and anchor ourselves in real value.
