Wance Closes Strategic Round Led by Xiaomi Industrial Investment, Positioning as AI-Era Physical Space Safety Partner | Linear Portfolio
Build an independent, innovation-driven industrial safety sensor system.

Wance has officially announced the completion of a strategic funding round with participation from Xiaomi Industrial Investment.
At a previous strategic launch event, Wance introduced its five-tier industrial safety capability framework (L0-L4) for the first time, offering systematic solutions to pain points including inadequate adaptation to dynamic working conditions, difficulty identifying human-machine collaboration risks, and the challenge of balancing safety with efficiency. The company also formally unveiled its "AI-Era Physical Space Safety Partner" strategy, simultaneously launching an industrial safety vertical large model, WONSOR Safety OS, and flagship new products — kicking off its evolution from mechanical safety toward human-machine symbiosis and the exploration of next-generation industrial safety paradigms.
Linear Capital was the lead investor in Wance's angel round and has continued to increase its stake in subsequent rounds.
Recently, Wance officially announced the completion of a strategic funding round with participation from Xiaomi Industrial Investment. This follows industrial investments from Fengyuan Capital and Sanhua Hongdao in 2025, marking yet another industrial capital endorsement of Wance. It reflects both strong recognition of Wance's technical capabilities, product portfolio, and market potential in the industrial safety sensor space, as well as firm support for its efforts to break foreign monopolies, advance domestic substitution, and drive continuous innovation in AI + safety.
Since its founding, Wance has been guided by the vision of "Advancing Industrial Safety, Building a Harmonious Society," dedicated to constructing a domestically innovative industrial safety sensor system. As Industry 4.0 shifts from efficiency-first to a balanced focus on quality and efficiency, production safety has become a core imperative — yet the domestic market has long been dominated by overseas giants such as SICK, Omron, and Keyence.
Wance's core team hails from international industry leaders, with deep understanding of sector pain points and the urgent needs of Chinese manufacturing upgrades. From the design stage, the company adheres to the most rigorous international standards including ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and UL 61496, implementing rigorous redundancy design and reliability verification. Its products have obtained authoritative international certifications including EU CE and North American NRTL.
As an expert member of international ISO/TC199 and a deputy secretary-general member unit of China's SAC/TC208, Wance actively participates in building national standards, having published nine standards in the industrial safety domain, and has constructed a comprehensive capability system of "standardized products + safety solutions + consulting services" to provide factories and equipment manufacturers with full-process support from risk assessment and safety design to acceptance certification.

At its strategic launch event on October 13, 2026, Wance introduced its five-tier industrial safety capability framework (L0-L4) for the first time: inherent safety, functional safety, spatial safety, comprehensive safety, and autonomous safety. Through its serialized product matrix, multi-dimensional sensing technology, and AI safety capabilities, it covers and supports full-tier safety implementation from L0 to L4, offering systematic solutions to pain points including inadequate adaptation to dynamic working conditions, difficulty identifying human-machine collaboration risks, and the challenge of balancing safety with efficiency.
Concurrently, Wance formally launched its "AI-Era Physical Space Safety Partner" strategy, simultaneously introducing an industrial safety vertical large model, WONSOR Safety OS, and flagship new products — initiating its progression from mechanical safety toward human-machine symbiosis and the exploration of next-generation industrial safety paradigms.

Wance has independently developed a series of products, including its industry-leading AI + 3D + Safety multi-dimensional safety sensor LT series, which integrates sensing and edge AI algorithms. It has been deployed in nearly 1,000 application scenarios across automotive manufacturing, new energy batteries, 3C electronics, semiconductors, photovoltaics, and embodied robotics, successfully addressing the pain point of insufficient flexibility in traditional safety protection and achieving a balance between safety and efficiency. With its solid product strength, Wance has long provided in-depth services to leading customers across multiple industries. Cumulative revenue in 2026 grew over 200% year-on-year. Cumulative shipments exceeded 1 million units.
Currently, the domestic industrial safety sensor field has long been monopolized by foreign players, posing challenges for supply chain autonomy and control; the entry of robots into industrial settings brings enormous safety risks that urgently require more advanced products and solutions. The investors in this round continue to firmly support the industrial safety track, helping Wance persist in tackling core technologies, break long-standing foreign monopolies, and strengthen the foundation of domestic intelligent manufacturing safety.
Meanwhile, this funding round will empower Wance to accelerate its global expansion, driving the overseas expansion of China's independently developed industrial safety technologies and products, and exporting Chinese intelligent manufacturing solutions to the world.
