"Grainite" Closes Series B3 Round to Accelerate AI-Native 3D Graphics Engine R&D | Linear Portfolio

GritWorld, a leading domestic 3D graphics engine company, has announced the completion of a tens-of-millions-of-dollars Series B3 funding round, jointly led by Xicheng Investment, Wuxi Binhu Industrial Group, and BYD.
Linear Capital was GritWorld's earliest investor and has continued to increase its stake in subsequent rounds. The company's core product, the 3D graphics engine GritGene, provides graphics technology and tools for high-quality, low-power graphics computing on portable devices.
Recently, GritWorld, a leading domestic 3D graphics engine company, announced the completion of a tens-of-millions-of-dollars Series B3 funding round, jointly led by Xicheng Investment, Wuxi Binhu Industrial Group, and BYD, with follow-on investments from existing shareholders including Langmafeng Venture Capital and other institutions.
Since its founding, GritWorld has received support from strategic investors including Huawei, BYD, Tencent, BV Baidu Ventures, Poly Capital, and CCB Trust, as well as venture capital firms including Hillhouse (GL Ventures), C Capital, Linear Capital, Langmafeng Venture Capital, Jiangmen Ventures, and Liumai Capital.
GritWorld partners with industry leaders including Huawei, BYD, Honor, China Unicom, New World Group, Shanghai Caohejing Lingang Park, and Xuanji Technology, applying 3D graphics engine technology to consumer devices such as smartphones, mixed reality headsets, and automobiles, as well as to digital twins, visual effects, and spatial intelligence — advancing the R&D and commercialization of a smart heterogeneous third-generation 3D graphics engine.
In addition to native AI upgrades to GritWorld's 3D graphics engine GritGene, this funding round will also support R&D in embodied intelligence and world model simulation training, multimodal intelligent human-computer interaction, and further commercialization across vertical industry scenarios including smart cockpits, terminal graphics, and spatial intelligence.
