ModelScope currently hosts more than 30 billion-parameter models and over 10 ten-billion-parameter models, including Alibaba's self-developed Tongyi series, spanning natural language understanding/generation/dialogue, text-to-image, text-to-video, and multimodal representation, among other directions.
From now until June 25, AI developers and startup teams worldwide are eligible to apply. After comprehensive evaluation, the organizer will announce the shortlist on June 26, with the offline hackathon taking place in July. Teams will have two days to build their products, followed by on-site pitches on the third day. A panel of judges comprising technical experts and investors will score submissions based on AI application innovation, technical difficulty, and commercial prospects.
Winning teams will receive cash awards of up to RMB 30,000, present their projects at the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference for face-to-face exchanges with tech leaders and top investors, and gain access to a USD 10 million venture capital pool provided by leading investment institutions.
