We're hiring CS/AI interns to explore AIGC with Linear Capital!

As an investment firm that has always kept a close eye on the evolution of AI technology and is committed to empowering industries through AI-driven projects — tackling the pain points of industrial upgrading — AIGC is a key focus area for Linear Capital. We've shared our views before: Linear believes AIGC will drive paradigm-level innovation that could create trillions of dollars in new opportunities over the next decade. Innovation at the model layer comes with high costs, but innovation at the application layer will bloom in a thousand different ways.

Building on these convictions, we will make aggressive commitments in AGI x this year. At the model layer, we're willing to join other investors in backing one large model company in the near term (investment size: $20 million). At the same time, we're prepared to deploy another $20 million across 5–10 application-layer startups in the AIGC space.

We'd like to invite anyone who shares our enthusiasm for AIGC to explore investment opportunities in this direction with us. Details on the open position are below:

Job Description

1. Support early-stage investing in AIGC, including industry research, expert interviews, due diligence, and drafting investment decision memos

2. Collect VC and industry data on the AIGC sector

3. Keep pace with the latest AIGC technologies, including paper research, analyzing hot technical developments, and deploying open-source projects

Candidate Qualifications

1. CS or AI background with coding skills; juniors or first-year master's students preferred; research or project experience preferred

2. Strong curiosity and passion for AIGC; avid reader of academic literature

3. Exceptional learning and analytical abilities — able to build a working understanding of products, technology, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in a given field within a short timeframe

4. Solid written communication and data processing skills

Location: Shanghai. Regular in-person check-ins required; day-to-day work can be in-office or remote. Minimum 6-month internship.
