We're excited to share some news about Linear Capital's team: Jun Yang, former co-founder and CTO of Dada, has joined as a Venture Partner. Yang will help Linear Capital source startups, participate in investment evaluation, and support portfolio company growth.
Yang is a seasoned technical entrepreneur. He previously worked as an engineer and engineering leader at Google, Facebook, and Square in Silicon Valley. In 2015, he joined Dada (which went public in 2020) as co-founder and CTO. Yang received his bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Zhejiang University, followed by a Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
