"Agile Robots and Google DeepMind Jointly Announce Landmark Strategic Partnership | Linear Portfolio"
Integrating cutting-edge AI into real-world robotics scenarios.

Early this morning, Agile Robots and Google DeepMind jointly announced a major strategic partnership to advance adaptive, reasoning-capable robots at scale in real-world industrial settings.
The collaboration integrates Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics foundation model with Agile Robots' scalable industrial robotics platform, with an initial focus on high-value industrial applications — including 3C electronics manufacturing and automotive production — where adaptability, reliability, and scalable deployment are critical.
Linear Capital led Agile Robots' angel round and continued to double down in subsequent rounds, supporting the company all the way to unicorn status in the global robotics sector.
On March 24, Munich time, Agile Robots announced a strategic partnership with Google DeepMind, a world-leading AI lab, to advance adaptive, reasoning-capable robots at scale in real-world industrial settings.
The partnership aims to bring cutting-edge AI into the physical world, enabling adaptive, reasoning-capable robots for widespread industrial use.

The collaboration stems from a shared conviction: that AI's entry into the physical world will be transformative. By integrating frontier AI technology into real-world robotic systems, the two parties will jointly develop industrial robots with adaptability and reasoning capabilities. The partnership combines Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics foundation model with Agile Robots' scalable industrial robotics platform.
Agile Robots brings a mature, scalable industrial robotics platform and accumulated solution expertise; Google DeepMind contributes frontier research from its Gemini Robotics foundation model. Together, this means robots evolving beyond pre-programmed automation toward intelligent systems capable of adaptation, reasoning, and continuous learning.
Chen Zhaopeng, Founder and CEO of Agile Robots, said: "Agile Robots has deployed over 20,000 robotic solutions globally, validating the feasibility of scalable intelligent automation. The future holds tremendous opportunity for autonomous intelligent production systems that can transform entire industries. Integrating Google's Gemini Robotics foundation model into our solutions positions us at the technological forefront of this rapidly expanding market."
Carolina Parada, Senior Director and Head of Robotics at Google DeepMind, said: "We are excited to partner with Agile Robots to develop more advanced AI models and drive the impact of next-generation robots across industries. This collaboration is an important step toward empowering the real world with AI."

The partnership will prioritize high-value industrial applications, including 3C manufacturing and automotive production, where demands for adaptability, reliability, and scalable deployment are particularly stringent.
The core strength of the Gemini Robotics foundation model lies in its multimodal reasoning and world-understanding capabilities. It doesn't merely help robots "see" their environment — it helps them "understand" it. Robots will no longer be confined to single processes or fixed paths; they stand to gain stronger generalization, greater task adaptability, and longer-cycle autonomous operation.
Through joint training, deployment, and testing of robotic solutions, the partners will build a scalable AI flywheel: data generated by robots in real environments will continuously feed back into model training; stronger models will in turn expand the boundaries of what robots can accomplish. What emerges is not simply a "model plus hardware" stack, but a self-reinforcing, continuously iterating AI flywheel.
This partnership further confirms that the global robotics industry is entering an entirely new phase, where deep integration between hardware and AI foundation models will become the core competitive driver.
