01 Linear Capital Investment Intern (Biotech)

Job Description:

Support early-stage equity investment in frontier biopharmaceutical technologies (primarily new technology paradigms at the intersection of data intelligence and biotech), including industry research, expert interviews, investment analysis, due diligence, and investment memo drafting.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. Background in biotech or related fields (interdisciplinary background spanning biotech, computer science, AI, or data science preferred). Experience in PE/VC/investment banking/equity research/consulting is a plus but not required. Research or industry engineering experience preferred.

  2. Solid foundation in industry research with strong learning agility. Passionate about frontier biotech and genuinely enjoys reading academic literature.

  3. Strong written communication and Excel data processing skills. Above all: reliability.

  4. Strong sense of responsibility and sufficient availability for the internship duration.

Location: Shanghai. Regular onsite check-ins required; day-to-day work can be onsite or remote. Minimum 3-6 month commitment.

02 Linear Capital Investment Intern (AI)

Job Description:

  1. Support early-stage AI investing, including industry research, paper analysis, due diligence, and investment memo drafting.

  2. Explore emerging AI technology directions, develop deep understanding of novel sub-fields through systematic mapping, and produce high-quality research reports.

  3. Collect information and data on AI industries domestically and internationally.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree or above in CS/AI. Research experience preferred.

  2. Strong intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for technology. Enjoys reading papers.

  3. Exceptional learning ability and analytical skills — able to rapidly develop nuanced understanding of products, technologies, markets, and competitive dynamics in assigned sectors.

  4. Strong written communication and data processing skills.

Location: Shanghai. Regular onsite check-ins required; day-to-day work can be onsite or remote. Minimum 3-6 month commitment.

03 Linear Capital Marketing & Operations Intern

If you're fascinated by the latest developments in generative AI, curious about tech investing, and skilled at thinking critically and expressing ideas through writing, we'd love to work with you — building understanding and insight into AI through original content and events.

Job Description:

  1. Assist with Linear Capital's content output, with focus on global AI developments. Responsibilities include AI-related information gathering and synthesis, original content production, and event information compilation.

  2. Support marketing and operations activities, including but not limited to event planning and execution.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. Currently enrolled at a recognized domestic or international university. All majors welcome, but we expect strong research and information synthesis skills with ability to independently produce content. WeChat official account writing and operations experience (with a substantial body of published work) is a plus.

  2. Proficiency in at least one of Photoshop, Canva, or Figma for poster and cover design, with strong visual taste.

  3. Familiar with and skilled at using 3+ generative AI tools, with demonstrated ability to leverage these tools for productivity gains.

  4. Well-versed in domestic and international media platforms, writers, and podcasts covering generative AI.

  5. Video editing skills are a plus.

Location: Shanghai. Onsite required. Minimum 3-6 month commitment.
