"Guoguang Shunneng" Raises Eight-Figure Angel Round from Linear Capital and HSG to Build Safe, Efficient Mobile Power Station Products Using New Energy Vehicle Technology

36Kr has learned that Guoguang Shunneng (Shanghai) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guoguang Shunneng") recently completed an angel round of financing worth tens of millions of RMB, jointly invested by Linear Capital and HSG. Deng Xiaoguang, founder of Guoguang Shunneng, stated that the proceeds from this round will be mainly used for product R&D iteration, talent acquisition, and commercial pilot programs.

Founded in Shanghai in February 2022, Guoguang Shunneng pioneered the definition of MPS (Mobility Power Supply) mobile energy solutions and created the DHForce brand. The company is committed to leveraging the technology and experience from manufacturing hundreds of thousands of new energy vehicles to build safe, efficient MPS products, providing users with seamless and convenient charging services, and offering distributed solutions for user-side orderly charging within new energy network architectures.

Deng Xiaoguang, founder of Guoguang Shunneng, previously worked at Siemens VDO, SAIC New Energy, Neta Auto, and Qingtao Solid-State Battery. He is also one of the drafters of current national charging standards, with over ten years of experience in the new energy vehicle industry. The core team includes well-known industry experts and scholars, energy sector specialists, experts from international authoritative certification bodies, and core management from Alibaba, Huawei, Volkswagen, Tesla, and other companies.

Compared to the rapid rise of new energy vehicles, the new energy service market centered on charging has developed somewhat more slowly. Take charging piles as an example: China's current vehicle-to-pile ratio stands at approximately 3:1, and achieving a 1:1 target in the coming years will require massive grid-side expansion as new energy vehicle ownership continues to climb rapidly — a significant infrastructure undertaking.

Deng Xiaoguang believes that in the current era of energy transformation, aligned with national energy strategy, China's new energy electrification era is advancing at an unparalleled pace, making this the opportune moment for building a charging and energy supply ecosystem. Charging scenarios should be diverse, and MPS mobile charging solutions offer distinct flexibility advantages. They also align with policy directions of "promoting new energy equipment based on user-side application scenarios," serving as distributed energy storage on the consumption side to provide anchor points for new energy network architectures.

Targeting the vacuum in energy supply markets, DHForce has launched two MPS products — Great White G90 and Little Black G60 — which will soon be deployed in select core scenarios. DHForce is partnering with core scenario strategic partners and local governments on pilot demonstrations spanning smart cities, new infrastructure, smart energy, dual-carbon demonstration, AI intelligence, and new energy vehicles.

From a market perspective, various mobile energy supply solutions have already emerged, including mobile energy replenishment vehicles, mobile energy storage vehicles, and mobile charging robots. Deng Xiaoguang stated: "MPS will be an entirely new form factor." Drawing on the team's accumulated technical experience in new energy vehicle products, the MPS mobile energy solution will open up entirely new possibilities for energy supply. Guoguang Shunneng's subsidiary RxTech provides strong technological support for MPS products, encompassing: RxPower energy sources, RxPilot intelligent driving, RxEP intelligent power, RxMech seamless technology, RxDomain domain control cloud, and RxEPT key battery technology and management systems. These enable Great White G90 and Little Black G60 to deliver superior performance and smoother service. Particularly in battery and charging safety, the company brings experience from safely deploying 500,000 new energy vehicles to market.

Furthermore, MPS products differ from traditional mobile charging robots: they can serve as distributed mobile energy storage facilities, providing grid services such as peak shaving and valley filling, frequency regulation, orderly charging, and emergency support; reducing thermal power peak regulation loads, cutting CO₂ emissions, and generating carbon trading revenue. The social and market value of mobile energy will gradually become apparent as pilots deepen.

Specifically, the energy source employs industry-leading 4C fast-charging cells and system integration technology. With higher-capacity batteries and a constant temperature management system, battery safety is ensured. Onboard energy conversion uses a self-developed, highly integrated high-power water-cooled module, enabling 10-minute fast charging for 150km of range. Deng Xiaoguang revealed that given MPS's unique scenarios, the company will work with partners to develop customized battery technologies going forward.

On autonomous driving, building on years of experience in mass-producing automotive-grade autonomous driving systems, MPS products incorporate unique scenario-adaptive autonomous driving technology, enabling flexible and efficient operation within scenarios through indoor mapping, obstacle avoidance control, and end-point algorithms.

Additionally, Guoguang Shunneng has accumulated substantial expertise in seamless technology, intelligent power, and domain controller platforms. More product technology details will be unveiled to the market in due course.

Regarding the economics of MPS products, Deng Xiaoguang told 36Kr that unlike charging piles, MPS products do not require substantial costs for grid expansion, parking space leasing, and equipment construction and operation, offering significant cost advantages in initial investment. In daily operations, MPS is environmentally friendly to external conditions, requiring no modification of property electrical systems or dedicated space occupation, and can be rapidly deployed across scenarios with flexible service advantages. These dual advantages reduce charging equipment operating costs for operators while providing convenient charging services for new energy vehicle owners.

The electrification and intelligentization of new energy vehicles has helped the industry develop and rise rapidly. This has also driven the rapid expansion of the electrification era into all aspects of human life, with increasingly diverse electricity consumption demands emerging. Flexible, fragmented, and rigid user-side electricity demands are exploding, and Deng Xiaoguang and his founding team are dedicated to serving this nascent demand and empowering the new energy supply system.
