Heart Capital congratulates MetaX, RoboSense, Micro-Nano Starry Sky, and Starfield for making the list.

On February 2, 2023, ChinaVenture released its "2022 ChinaVenture Sharp 100" list. Four companies from Heart Capital's portfolio — MetaX, RoboSense, Micro-Nano Starry Sky, and Starfield — made the cut.

This marks the third year that ChinaVenture has published the Sharp 100 list. The ranking is compiled by ChinaVenture Research Institute based on three dimensions: external attention, industrial synergy, and industry influence, recognizing 100 of the most innovative and fastest-growing tech companies of the year. The list focuses on growth-stage companies in the tech and innovation sectors that have demonstrated high levels of financing activity and strong growth potential — hence the "Sharp" designation.

Heart Capital focuses on early-stage investments in technology and digitalization. In new mobility, the team has backed Micro-Nano Starry Sky, a leading domestic satellite R&D and manufacturer, and RoboSense, a global leader in smart LiDAR systems. In hard tech, the team has supported MetaX, a pioneer in domestic GPU chips, and Starfield, a plant-based protein company. In 2022, all four portfolio companies grew against the headwinds and delivered strong fundraising results. Micro-Nano Starry Sky completed nearly RMB 400 million in Series B and B+ rounds, while RoboSense closed three financing rounds in a single year — both drawing significant industry attention. Beyond fundraising, Micro-Nano Starry Sky successfully launched seven satellites in 2022, bringing its total to 17. RoboSense, meanwhile, released its high-performance solid-state blind-spot LiDAR E1 in November, filling in what the company called "the last piece of the puzzle" for next-generation automotive LiDAR and enabling comprehensive perception for smart vehicles. As 2022 closed out on a string of wins, 2023 has arrived — and Heart Capital looks forward to its portfolio companies breaking new ground.
