Yanchen Liu brings fourteen years of venture capital experience. Before joining Heart Capital, she served as Investment Director at Cainiao Strategic Investment under Alibaba, focusing on using investment to advance technology and digitalization in new transportation and new logistics. Throughout her investment career, she has concentrated on logistics, supply chain, and cross-border expansion, continuously identifying upstream and downstream opportunities by riding industry upgrades and leveraging deep sector understanding. She grasps the pain points and opportunities of industry transformation, bringing a distinctive strategic vision and investment perspective to technology-enabled logistics and digital supply chains.
Her lead investments include RoboSense, a leading Chinese smart LiDAR company; World Logistics, a top cross-border ocean freight firm undergoing digital transformation; De Well Holdings, a leading China-US end-to-end logistics and supply chain services provider; and 4PX, a top cross-border e-commerce logistics company. Earlier in her career, she also invested in industry leaders such as Best Inc. (Best.US) and 8482.TW.
As a partner at Heart Capital, Yanchen Liu will continue to focus on technology-enabled logistics and digital supply chains, accompanying more outstanding Chinese tech entrepreneurs as they go global. Yanchen Liu holds an MBA with honors from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA with first-class honors from City University of Hong Kong. She is also an alumnus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a fellow member of ACCA.
