Grow with intention.

On June 9, at 36Kr's "Waves 2023" conference, the annual "Most Influential/Most Promising" investment firm rankings were unveiled, with Heart Capital receiving the 2023 "Most Promising Early-Stage Investment Firm" award.

Starting in March of this year, 36Kr's venture capital research institute gathered data on investment firms through multiple channels including surveys and data platforms, while also conducting interviews with founders for cross-verification.

On the data side, the primary focus was on: the number and total size of funds raised; the number and total value of investments made, lead investments, and notable deals; the growth and book returns of portfolio companies; and exit methods (IPO and other exits) along with actual distributions.

This year's survey treated each individual fund and each portfolio company as key observation units, drilling down to single transactions to create four progressive layers: "firm — fund — company — transaction."

Founded in 2022, Heart Capital is a China-based early-stage venture capital fund focused on technology and digitalization, established by Yan Han, formerly a founding partner at Lightspeed. The Heart Capital team is primarily composed of founding partners, the CFO, and core investors from Lightspeed, alongside seasoned industry investors from Cainiao and Baidu.
