Jointly building Central and Eastern Europe's first national-level smart low-altitude economy demonstration zone.

On May 26, 2026, Beijing time, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who was in China for his first state visit, met with Deli Zhao, founder of Huitian (AeroHT), in Beijing. The two sides reached a cooperation intention in the low-altitude sector, with plans to use the "2027 Belgrade Expo" as a core opportunity to jointly build the first national-level low-altitude economy smart demonstration zone in Central and Eastern Europe. The project aims to create a low-altitude economy hub integrating R&D testing, demonstration operations, talent training, and standards export — radiating across Europe — to support the development of Serbia's low-altitude industry.

During the meeting, President Vučić spoke highly of China's rapid development in the low-altitude economy and new quality productive forces. He stated that Serbia would work with Huitian to build the first national-level low-altitude economy smart demonstration zone in Central and Eastern Europe, and invited Huitian to participate in Serbia's low-altitude air route pilot projects, including demonstration flights, testing,示范运营, pilot training, and investment in local manufacturing facilities. The Serbian side will provide Huitian with the most convenient pathways for airworthiness certification, as well as substantial support in land use, financing, regulations, and policy.
Deli Zhao stated that Huitian will leverage its advanced technology, mature systems, and long-term commitment to promote the export of China's low-altitude economy benchmarks and models with high standards and efficiency, using the abundant fruits of technological innovation to enrich the high-quality development of China-Serbia Belt and Road cooperation.
