MaHui Portfolio Company North Ocean Photonics Raises Over 1 Billion Yuan in C+ Round to Advance Optical Production Line
The 12-inch wafer-level optical production line is steadily progressing, with completion and commissioning expected by 2027.

Following its Series C financing of several hundred million RMB earlier this year, MaHui member North Ocean Photonics has recently completed a Series C+ round exceeding 1 billion RMB. Source Code Capital participated in the company's Series B+ round in 2021.
Ting Wang, board secretary of North Ocean Photonics, said the company's 2-billion-RMB 12-inch wafer-level optics production line in Shanghai's Lingang area is progressing steadily according to plan, with the project expected to be completed and operational by 2027. The 12-inch line will further strengthen the company's R&D and mass production capabilities in wafer-level optics, enabling growth in downstream applications including AR, fiber optics, optical communications, automotive optics, and optical computing.
North Ocean Photonics is a high-tech enterprise focused on wafer-level optics and photonic integration.
