MaKe | MaHui Member Galaxy Universal Raises $300 Million at $3 Billion Valuation
This round of financing once again set a new record for single-round funding in Embodied Artificial Intelligence.

Recently, MaHui portfolio company Galaxy Universal (hereinafter referred to as "Galaxy Universal") officially announced the completion of a new funding round exceeding $300 million, once again setting a record for the largest single round in embodied AI.
This round was led by China Mobile Chain Leader Fund, with joint investment from major investment platforms and industry giants including CICC Capital, Chinese Academy of Sciences fund, Suzhou Venture Capital Group, CCTV Convergence Media Industry Investment Fund, and Tianqi Co., Ltd. It also saw follow-on investment from international investors based in Singapore and the Middle East, as well as existing shareholders.
Source Code Capital participated in both of Galaxy Universal's funding rounds, beginning from the angel round.
According to reports, Galaxy Universal has raised approximately $800 million in total funding, reaching a valuation of $3 billion. This means the current round surpasses the dual records for single-round and cumulative fundraising that the company itself set in June, and also represents the highest valuation in the humanoid robotics industry to date.
The capital structure and funding scale demonstrated in this round signal that the global humanoid robotics industry, after a period of rapid advancement in locomotion capabilities, is now entering a new phase of scaled productivity — with Galaxy Universal as its leading representative.

As the world's first embodied AI company to truly achieve full-stack self-development spanning from "billion-scale high-quality datasets" to "embodied foundation models" to "robot hardware," Galaxy Universal has continued to achieve breakthroughs at the frontier of technical R&D.
The team's self-developed embodied AI foundation model and other key technologies have achieved multiple global firsts in areas including multi-task generalized manipulation, full-body motion control for humanoid robots, cross-platform autonomous navigation, and dexterous hand fine manipulation — laying a solid technical foundation for the scaled, high-reliability deployment of humanoid robots.
Closely aligned with real industrial demands, Galaxy Universal remains committed to building humanoid robots that meet industrial-grade usage standards. It has already developed mature solutions and achieved scaled commercial deployment across multiple sectors including industrial manufacturing, instant retail warehousing, smart city services, and healthcare and eldercare.
In industrial manufacturing, the company has established deep partnerships with leading domestic and international enterprises including CATL, Bosch Group, Toyota, Hyundai, BAIC Group, SAIC, ZEEKR, and Great Wall Motor. It became the first globally to deploy humanoid robots working autonomously in real factory environments, with cumulative orders already reaching several thousand units.

In smart city services, Galaxy Universal pioneered the city-level embodied AI solution "Galaxy Space Capsule," centered on its humanoid robot Galbot, enabling fully autonomous operation and monitoring to create smart retail and urban service terminals where humans and robots interact at "zero distance."
This solution has already achieved regular operations in core commercial districts, streets, landmark sites, and residential communities across dozens of cities nationwide — including Beijing's Summer Palace and Wangfujing, Chengdu's Chunxi Road, Suzhou's Shishan Cultural Plaza, and Hangzhou's Hubin Road Pedestrian Street — continuously providing services to citizens and serving as a global demonstration case of embodied AI deeply empowering urban public service systems.
In instant retail warehousing, at the end of 2024, Galaxy Universal jointly launched the nation's first 24-hour smart medical retail store with Eyebright Medical, introducing Galaxy Universal humanoid robots to achieve fully autonomous operation — delivering a replicable, scalable embodied AI instant retail solution.

Today, Galaxy Universal has scaled deployment across dozens of retail warehouses in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and other cities nationwide, achieving autonomous picking and packing throughout the entire workflow. This significantly addresses the chronic understaffing and excessive workload in nighttime instant retail warehouses. Galaxy Universal's smart retail warehouses have operated continuously and stably 24/7 for over a year — the only humanoid robotics company in the embodied AI sector to truly break through with long-term, real-world, stable working capabilities.
In healthcare and eldercare, Galaxy Universal has established deep partnerships with renowned Grade III Class A hospitals including Xuanwu Hospital, advancing the deployment of humanoid robots in scenarios such as ward assistance, pharmacy management, and smart wayfinding. This provides elderly patients with more autonomous and accessible service experiences while also tangibly reducing the workload of medical staff.
Following the completion of this funding round, Galaxy Universal will continue to increase investment in core technologies, accelerate the scaled deployment and iteration of solutions across all sectors, deepen industrial synergies with strategic investors, and actively expand its global partnership network. The company aims to consolidate its leading position as a frontrunner in China's embodied AI industry and drive the transformation of embodied AI technology into a new quality productive force that propels industrial progress.
