DeepWise Closes B+ Round to Strengthen Physical AI Energy Foundation, Existing Investor Source Code Capital Continues to Increase Stake

Source Code Capital led J&T Global Express's Pre-A+ round and subsequently doubled down across four consecutive funding rounds: Series A, A+, B, and B+.

Recently, MaHui member and physical AI company DeepWise (DeepCtrls) completed a new B+ round of financing worth hundreds of millions of RMB. This round was led by CATL, with follow-on investments from Aramco Ventures, Taiping Innovation Investment, GF Xinde Investment Management, and Fosun Capital. Existing shareholders including Source Code Capital and Forebright Capital continued to increase their stakes.

Source Code Capital was the lead investor in the company's Pre-A+ round and subsequently doubled down through four consecutive rounds — A, A+, B, and B+.

The concentrated backing from industrial capital reflects a shared market consensus: AI is moving from the digital world into the physical world, and energy and computing infrastructure are becoming the critical foundation for AI's sustained development. Physical AI will be the key technological path to reconstructing this foundation.

DeepWise is a pioneer and leader in applying physical AI to the energy sector globally. As early as 2018, before the concept of physical AI had taken shape worldwide, the company focused on the deep integration of AI with physical mechanisms, building a technical system centered on its PhyAI physical AI engine. This enables AI to truly "understand" the physical world — achieving perception, prediction, autonomous decision-making, and real-time optimal control in real physical environments. Every control decision becomes explainable, predictable, and highly safe and reliable, pushing AI from the digital world into the real physical world.

After years of R&D and industrial practice, DeepWise has crossed the chasm from technology validation to large-scale commercial deployment, serving hundreds of leading enterprise clients globally and becoming one of the earliest companies worldwide to achieve closed-loop physical AI control in production.

As demand for AI computing power continues to grow, DeepWise's physical AI is extending from industrial scenarios into computing infrastructure. Its liquid cooling intelligent control and compute-power coordination products are providing a physical AI intelligent hub for the bidirectional synergy and sustainable development of AI computing and energy.

CATL, as a global leader in new energy, has also been a long-standing group client of DeepWise. This strategic partnership will further deepen industrial collaboration and exploration between the two parties in physical AI and energy. Aramco Ventures' investment demonstrates its recognition of DeepWise's physical AI technology and will support the company's continued growth and global business expansion.

Li Hui, founder and CEO of DeepWise, said that the second half of AI development is shifting from "thinking" in the digital world to "controlling" in the physical world — whoever can achieve autonomous optimization, decision-making, and closed-loop control of the real physical world will seize the initiative for AI's long-term development. Computing power and energy are the two critical infrastructures for AI development. DeepWise, with its physical AI engine at the core, is building the AI brain for computing and energy infrastructure, driving computing power, electricity, cooling, and energy systems toward autonomous intelligence, and supporting the bidirectional synergy and sustainable development of global AI and energy.
