Bota Bio Enhe Biotechnology partners with Proya, becoming first synthetic biology company to secure strategic partnership with Proya


On May 20, 2025, Bota Bio (Enhe Biotechnology, hereafter "Enhe Biotechnology") and Proya held a strategic partnership signing ceremony at Proya's Longwu R&D Center in Hangzhou — marking Proya's first strategic-level collaboration with a synthetic biology company. The two parties will focus on the convergent application of synthetic biology and AI technology, carrying out in-depth cooperation in the innovative development and application of cosmetics and biomedical aesthetic materials.

Dr. Coral Chui, co-founder and CEO of Bota Bio (Enhe Biotechnology), Zhao Na, personal care director at Enhe Biotechnology, Dr. Shao Qimiao, chief scientist of personal care at Enhe Biotechnology, Hou Yameng, general manager of Proya, Dr. Sun Peiwen, chief R&D and innovation officer, and Wang Yifeng, product development lead and deputy general manager of incubated brands, were among the senior executives from both companies who attended the ceremony.
