Visual inspection technology company Dinnar announced the completion of a Series B financing round worth hundreds of millions of RMB, led by Source Code Capital.

Dedicated to providing machine vision inspection solutions, with coverage across 3C, automotive, 5G, display panel, semiconductor, and other vertical scenarios.

Dinnar, a company providing machine vision inspection solutions for manufacturing clients, recently completed a 100 million RMB Series B funding round led by Source Code Capital, Yuanhai Minghua, and Xiaomiao Capital. The proceeds will go toward expanding production capacity, meeting customer demand, recruiting top-tier technical talent, developing new products, and maintaining technological and product competitiveness.

Founded in 2010, Dinnar specializes in ultra-high-precision 3D vision measurement technology, deep learning-based complex defect detection, AI-powered object recognition, and robotic vision-enabled intelligent grasping. The company offers fully automated smart manufacturing equipment integrating both hardware and software, with solutions now deployed across 3C, automotive, 5G, display panel, and semiconductor segments.

"Dinnar has accumulated a decade of industry experience, which can be roughly divided into three phases," said Yinghua Qin, founder and CEO. "From 2010 to 2017, we focused on machine vision system modules and engaged with nearly a thousand application scenarios. From 2017 to 2019, we built comprehensive solutions centered on visual inspection. Starting in 2020, some of our projects began mass production, with most target customers coming from the 3C sector."

About Suzhou Dinnar Automation

Dinnar's direct partnerships with industry-leading customers began in 2017. "We were dealing with the quality systems across their entire component supply chains — glass, metal parts, plastic parts, and so on. We needed to perform quality inspections during the production of these components," Qin explained.

During its first seven years, Dinnar completed its foundational buildup — what Qin describes as going from 1 to 99 — working on numerous non-3C projects and accumulating substantial cross-industry experience. But earning the trust of top-tier customers proved difficult; it took Dinnar a full three years. The progression from serving this client indirectly, to establishing contact, to becoming a "direct partner" was driven by two factors: first, its technology gained recognition, and second, Dinnar's customer-centric approach enabled rapid response to client requirements.

Qin noted that in recent years, this American tech giant has been actively cultivating its domestic supply chain. Meanwhile, the overall market for machine vision inspection equipment in consumer electronics and related core component sectors — including display panels and chip manufacturing — approached 3 billion RMB in 2019 and grew to nearly 4 billion RMB in 2020. With short product lifecycles and massive demand, consumer electronics will continue to drive rapid growth in the machine vision market in the coming years.

Dinnar's near-term goal is to become a globally leading provider of intelligent visual inspection solutions. Its long-term vision is to establish a solid foothold in consumer electronics before expanding into display panels, automotive, and other sectors. In serving cross-industry clients, the company has already developed standardized modules and productizable solutions in-house.

On the team front, Dinnar employs 300 professionals, predominantly in R&D. The company invests 15% of annual revenue into research and development, and holds over 80 patents and software copyrights. It currently operates branches in Shenzhen, Zhejiang, and Silicon Valley, while accelerating the development of its R&D headquarters in Suzhou Industrial Park.
