Dr. Zhe Shi holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati's Center for Intelligent Maintenance Systems. During his doctoral studies in 2016, he co-founded Tianze Zhiyun, where he participated in industrial AI project R&D and intelligent system development for rail transit, wind power, and manufacturing industries. He officially joined Foxconn in 2020 as the group's CDO and Smart Manufacturing Platform Lead, overseeing the company's digital transformation and smart manufacturing strategy, and driving the implementation of Lighthouse Factories, smart manufacturing platforms, and industrial internet initiatives.
