On July 25, Gartner, a leading global research and advisory firm, released its 2022 Magic Quadrant for the RPA industry. Hongji Cyclone, recognized for its robust product capabilities and strong market performance, was named once again — following its 2021 debut as the first Chinese RPA vendor in the Gartner Magic Quadrant — and achieved a significant leap in positioning, emerging as a notably competitive Chinese enterprise in the quadrant.

Yuguang Gao, founder of Hongji Cyclone, commented: "Being named in the Gartner RPA Magic Quadrant again, with such a substantial rise in position, is a milestone for both Hongji and domestic RPA vendors as a whole. This ranking刷新了中国RPA厂商在Gartner MQ报告的排名. It is also strong recognition of Hongji's product and technical capabilities, market leadership, and capacity for innovation."

Gartner is one of the world's most authoritative IT research and advisory organizations. Its Magic Quadrant — often called the "Oscars of tech" and the "CIO's bible for vendor selection" — maintains exceptionally rigorous and impartial evaluation standards. The report assesses global RPA vendors across two core dimensions: ability to execute and completeness of vision, incorporating comprehensive 360-degree evaluations of product technology, AI, data analytics, and scenario applications. In the report, Gartner expressed high praise for Hongji Cyclone, highlighting its strengths in technology innovation, product strategy, and global market share.

The report notes that Hongji Cyclone's investment and output in AI have been outstanding, with particular emphasis on its digital assistant (CIRI) and AI skills platform. These offerings not only provide robust platform support for IoT and edge computing, but also enable orchestration of standard business models and BPMN. CIRI integrates AI and RPA into a unified system, allowing users to engage with automated workflows anytime via mobile or desktop.

From a product strategy perspective, Gartner views Hongji Cyclone as delivering end-to-end automation solutions built on standard RPA scenarios, encompassing AI/ML capabilities, low-code development, IoT automation, and edge automation.

In its pursuit of hyperautomation, Hongji Cyclone has developed a mature and comprehensive super-automation product portfolio. This includes platform-based management and operation of digital workers (RPA bots and RPA processes), as well as digitization of business processes covering process mining, process simulation, automation opportunity discovery, automation implementation and development, business visualization, and composability of digital business — comprising over 20 automation product suites that address the full automation lifecycle from demand discovery to design, management, deployment, and human-machine interaction. Hongji's enterprise-grade RPA products span the complete enterprise automation lifecycle, with core offerings including: RPA Designer, Executor, Control Center, Digital Worker Platform, Automation Center of Excellence, Process Intelligence, Automation Marketplace, Intelligent Assistant, Digital Insights, and Intelligent Document Platform. To date, Hongji Cyclone has raised $150 million in Series C funding, holds considerable market share in the Asia-Pacific region, and provides in-depth, localized expert solutions to APAC customers based on its strong product capabilities.

Since establishing its Singapore subsidiary in 2021, Hongji Cyclone has used Singapore as a hub to actively expand across Southeast Asia while extending its reach to Japan, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. This year, it added a London office as its overseas strategic headquarters, further strengthening business development across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas to accelerate its global strategic layout.

As a global leader in RPA and hyperautomation, Hongji Cyclone established a Silicon Valley AI R&D center as early as 2020, assembling a high-caliber international talent team dedicated to bringing Hongji Cyclone's products and solutions to broader international markets. Its enterprise-grade RPA product portfolio already serves over a thousand domestic and international clients, including State Grid Corporation of China, Postal Savings Bank of China, CNOOC, COFCO Group, China Southern Airlines, and Volvo, spanning sectors such as financial services, energy, e-commerce, retail, healthcare, government, and manufacturing.
