How Does a Great Product Become a Global Business? | Code Brain

More than 30 founders expanding overseas laid out the real challenges they face in product development, distribution, payments, and influencer marketing.

On the evening of September 17, in Shenzhen's Nanshan district, Source Code Capital and Code Brain co-hosted a closed-door "Going Global Night Chat" with Airwallex for Startups, with ecosystem partners including AhaCreator, InnoLab, Zhiqian, and AING providing support.

The event drew numerous founder applications, with over 30 Greater Bay Area entrepreneurs ultimately invited — including portfolio companies like Miaobi Tiancheng, Simeng Technology, IGen, HAI ROBOTICS, and CassTime. The group gathered around "hardware going global" to unpack real problems in product, distribution, payments, and influencer marketing: How do you identify true PMF? How do new categories break into overseas channels? How does payment infrastructure affect GMV? How does influencer marketing move from "buying buzz" to "buying growth"?

Four frontline operators shared what they'd actually lived through: how scarce innovation earns market returns, how going-global channels get built layer by layer, how capital moves efficiently across borders, and how to validate influencer conversion paths on a tight budget. No standard answers — just real experience and concrete methods. After the formal sharing ended, founders kept talking freely until past 11 p.m.

The next "Going Global Night Chat" will focus on emerging overseas markets, bringing frontline market insights and opportunity sharing. Interested founders are welcome to follow Source Code Capital's official account.

"Going Global Night Chat" is a closed-door exchange series launched by Source Code Capital and Code Brain in 2022, designed to build a community connecting entrepreneurs inside and outside the MaHui network going global. Each session, we invite founders and operators deep in the going-global trenches to focus on the most pressing topics of the moment, share real experience, exchange ideas in depth, and work through challenges together. Fourteen sessions have been held to date.
