On the evening of April 20, Moonshot AI officially released and open-sourced the Kimi K2.6 model, delivering industry-leading (state-of-the-art) capabilities in coding, long-horizon task execution, and agent swarming. Biren Technology's (06082.HK) flagship general-purpose GPU product, the Bili™ 166 series, was among the first to complete model integration and inference optimization following the K2.6 open-source release, offering developers and enterprise customers "first access" to a SOTA model on a domestic computing platform.
According to the official announcement, Kimi K2.6 delivers comprehensive upgrades to its general-purpose agent, coding, and visual understanding capabilities. It achieved industry-leading results on benchmarks including the full Humanity's Last Exam, SWE-Bench Pro (which tests real-world software engineering ability), and DeepSearchQA (which evaluates agent deep-retrieval capabilities) — matching or outperforming closed-source models such as GPT-5.4, Claude Opus 4.6, and Gemini 3.1 Pro.
Kimi K2.6 also shows marked improvement in long-horizon coding, demonstrating uninterrupted coding sessions of up to 13 hours, writing or modifying over 4,000 lines of code, and completing complex system development and optimization tasks. The model significantly enhances autonomous agent execution. The agent swarm architecture powered by K2.6 supports 300 sub-agents running in parallel across 4,000 collaborative steps, enabling larger-scale parallelization. For proactive agent frameworks such as Open Claw and Hermes Agent, K2.6 supports sustained autonomous operation for up to five days.

To support the K2.6 model's core features — including its 1T MoE architecture, 256K long context window, and MLA (Multi-head Latent Attention) — Biren Technology conducted full-stack deep optimization based on the mainstream open-source vLLM framework, precisely adapting to the 32B active parameters and becoming the first to achieve lossless 256K-context inference.
To further boost inference performance, the team simultaneously deployed multiple techniques including MoE expert scheduling optimization, sparse computing, multi-level Tensor Parallel and Context Parallel parallelism, and int4 quantized inference, enabling the model to run with low latency and high throughput on Biren Technology's platform. Throughout this process, Biren Technology performed deep performance optimization on K2.6's key operators, significantly improving inference efficiency through automated operator tuning strategies.
As a critical compute backbone for the domestic large-model ecosystem, Biren Technology continues to lead in building out the domestic GPU ecosystem. Leveraging the high versatility of the Bili™ 166 series and the maturity of its fully self-developed BIRENSUPA™ software stack, Biren Technology has recently completed Day-0 adaptation support for leading large models including Moonshot AI's Kimi series, Alibaba's Qwen series, MiniMax's M2 series, Zhipu's GLM series, StepFun's Step series, Tencent's Hunyuan series, and OpenMOSS's MOVA series — covering the full matrix of language, multimodal, and AIGC models.
