ONES, an R&D management tool, announced the completion of its RMB 300 million Series B1 and B2 funding rounds, with participation from Source Code Capital.
Dedicated to advancing China's software industry and enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.

ONES recently announced the completion of its Series B1 and B2 rounds totaling RMB 300 million, setting a new record for financing in China's R&D management sector. New investors include Source Code Capital, XVC, and SoftBank, while existing investor 5Y Capital continued its support. Proceeds from this round will go toward strengthening product R&D and service investment, expanding talent acquisition, building a world-class team, and further solidifying ONES's leading position in China's R&D management track.
Founded in 2015, ONES is a leading R&D management solutions provider in China. The company offers eight specialized R&D management products covering the entire R&D lifecycle. In 2020, ONES acquired Tower, a well-known domestic team collaboration tool, further expanding its business footprint to cover everything from small teams to large and medium-sized teams, providing one-stop solutions across various project management scenarios and professional R&D management.

Leading China's R&D Management Sector, Empowering Enterprise Success
Overseas, R&D management tools have already seen widespread adoption. Atlassian commands a market cap of $60 billion, and its products including Jira, Confluence, and Trello have fully demonstrated their value for enterprise software production. ONES's 2020 acquisition of Tower was regarded as a domestic equivalent of the "Jira + Trello" combination, capable of delivering more comprehensive project management capabilities for teams ranging from startups to ultra-large conglomerates, comprehensively elevating enterprise digital management standards.
The "Assembly Line" of Software Production, the "New Infrastructure" of Digital Transformation
IDC considers digital transformation one of the critical imperatives for building future global leaders and organizational development. In 2020, amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, worldwide IT spending far outpaced global GDP growth. Software and technology are increasingly helping enterprises solve business problems.
As the "new infrastructure" of digital transformation, ONES charges forward with an unwavering commitment to advancing China's software industry. Through holistic optimization and process supervision of software production, ONES's R&D management tools effectively organize collaboration across large, complex teams, eliminate wasted effort, improve software development and delivery quality, and thereby enhance core enterprise competitiveness — serving as an indispensable "assembly line" for the software industry.
ONES possesses deep understanding and extensive practical experience with R&D management scenarios at domestic enterprises. The company has already earned the trust of multiple Fortune 500 companies including Xiaomi, China Merchants Fund, Inspur Software, China Telecom Group Co., Ltd., Kweichow Moutai, and SAIC.
As product autonomy and service capabilities have gradually matured, domestic substitution has become an increasingly important factor driving more large and medium-sized enterprises to choose ONES, particularly given the current complex international landscape. ONES is now providing best practices in R&D management to millions of enterprises across internet, software and hardware, gaming, finance, education, and other sectors.
At the same time, ONES actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility, having provided technical management support to DJI Education and Itcast Education for multiple consecutive years, helping cultivate high-quality software R&D talent. Additionally, as a member of the China Communications Standards Association, ONES participated in formulating the DevOps Capability Maturity Model standard. Recently, ONES formally became Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Information Technology Application Innovation Alliance, dedicated to enhancing independent innovation in the information technology industry and actively promoting the development of Chinese software.

"The software industry requires advanced management concepts and tools," said Yingqi Wang, Founder and CEO of ONES. "ONES will continue to focus on the software R&D management track and drive the rapid development of China's software industry."
"Enterprise services have always been a key focus area for Source Code Capital," said Yiwen Hao of Source Code Capital. "The technology and methodology in R&D management are evolving rapidly, and market demand for next-generation products is strong. We are optimistic about the ONES team's accumulated expertise and believe they will continue empowering global software R&D."
