Source Code Capital portfolio company Silicon Integrated announced the completion of a Series D funding round worth several hundred million yuan, with existing investor Source Code Capital continuing to increase its stake.
An innovative chip design company with independent, self-developed intellectual property.

Silicon Integrated, a leading provider of high-performance intelligent audio and advanced optical solutions, recently announced the completion of its Series D financing round worth hundreds of millions of RMB. The round was led by 5Y Capital, with follow-on investments from ByteDance and Juhua Chuanxin. Existing shareholders including Hua Capital and Source Code Capital also continued to increase their stakes. Among them, Source Code Capital was an investor in the company's Series B round. The proceeds will be used to accelerate product iteration and commercialization across its product lines, enhance talent density, and expand into new products and markets.
Founded in 2016, Silicon Integrated is an innovative chip design company with independent intellectual property rights. Headquartered in Wuhan Optics Valley Future Science and Technology City, the company has established subsidiaries and R&D centers in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Europe. Its core team largely comes from well-known European and American chip design companies, bringing leading technological innovation capabilities and extensive industrialization experience. Positioned in the intelligent sensing domain, the company currently has multiple product lines including intelligent audio, 3D vision, optical sensing, and haptic feedback, and has received joint strategic investments from several top-tier smartphone and internet companies.

2021 was a year of vigorous growth for Silicon Integrated. Its intelligent audio amplifier products achieved mass production at scale, serving hundreds of millions of consumers globally. Its haptic feedback chip was developed and brought to market, with the overall solution gradually maturing. The high-performance iToF image sensor was successfully launched, matching application scenarios such as payment-grade facial recognition, 3D modeling, and logistics inspection. The high-resolution dToF image sensor using 3D stacking technology completed R&D, with potential to power AR/XR perception in the metaverse era. The advanced optical sensor product line entered mass production, with the 3-in-1 ambient light/proximity sensor gaining market traction. Going forward, Silicon Integrated will bring to the industry a series of optical solutions including OLED under-display color temperature detection, multi-spectral sensing, and precision ranging, further expanding the boundaries of visual perception.
This financing round comes just six months after Silicon Integrated's Series C strategic funding of hundreds of millions of RMB, reflecting capital markets' strong recognition of a chip design company that has rarely secured joint backing from multiple smartphone brands and semiconductor industry investors. Liu Deheng, founder and CEO of Silicon Integrated, stated that the company will further attract top industry talent, increase talent density, maintain its multi-product-line strategy, and advance R&D and commercialization in multi-sensing domains including audio, vision, and haptics — delivering differentiated value to customers and contributing to industry development.
