Source Code Capital portfolio company "Yidianzu" announced the completion of a Series E funding round exceeding 500 million RMB, led by existing shareholder Source Code Capital.
Edianzu has officially rebranded as "Edianyun," continuing its deep focus on China's office IT infrastructure services.

On March 16, Yidianzu — a leading domestic office IT infrastructure service provider — announced the completion of its Series E funding round exceeding RMB 500 million, led by returning investor Source Code Capital, with follow-on participation from Matrix Partners China, Yunshi Capital, and a sovereign wealth fund. The proceeds will be primarily directed toward core technology R&D and innovation, enhancing digital service capabilities, expanding city and regional coverage, and refining product and ecosystem development. Source Code Capital had previously led the company's Series C and D rounds.
Concurrently, Yidianzu officially announced its rebranding to "Yidianyun" (易点云, literally "Easy Cloud"), committing to continued deep cultivation of the "office cloud" sector and positioning itself as a trusted office IT infrastructure provider for enterprises, advancing the development of office IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) in China. After six years of accumulated expertise, Yidianyun has built robust computing operations capabilities from the ground up — from individual devices to comprehensive networks — establishing a real-time infrastructure service network nationwide that proactively deploys flexible computing terminals for client offices.

Yidianyun founder and CEO Pengcheng Ji explained "office cloud" by drawing an analogy to the widely understood public cloud model: "Enterprise IT computing power falls into two categories: server computing and PC computing. Server computing primarily serves external customers, while PC computing serves internal employees. When enterprises procure virtual server services, cloud providers build computing pools centered on server computing and maximize utilization through software systems — this is called 'public cloud.' When enterprises procure physical PC terminal services, cloud providers build computing pools centered on PC terminal computing and maximize utilization through software systems and remanufacturing facilities — this is called 'office cloud.'"
Due to personnel fluctuations and cross-departmental coordination difficulties, internal PC equipment in enterprises typically sits idle over 20% of the time; with an average device lifecycle of four years in a typical enterprise, a device's actual productive use amounts to just 3.2 years. Through office cloud software systems and remanufacturing capabilities, device vacancy rates are controlled below 5%, while device lifecycles are extended beyond seven years and actual productive use increases to over 6.7 years — dramatically improving computing utilization efficiency.

Yidianyun is the pioneer and leader in office cloud. Since 2015, it has built formidable computing operations capabilities. It developed proprietary, high-efficiency computing scheduling system clusters to ensure high-utilization application of device computing power, maintaining vacancy rates below 5% for extended periods. Yidianyun operates the world's only PC remanufacturing facility, having self-developed numerous software, hardware, and process innovations that extend PC high-availability status beyond seven years. Meanwhile, Yidianyun's rapid IT service system controls enterprise IT problem resolution within two hours, achieving high reliability for computing terminals.
Office cloud and public cloud serve as the internal and external facets of enterprise IT infrastructure, jointly serving enterprises in IaaS form.
Yidianyun founder and CEO Pengcheng Ji stated: "Office cloud addresses a series of enterprise challenges in the information age: the drain of energy on office IT management, high usage costs, high maintenance costs, and related issues."
As the pioneer and leader in office cloud, Yidianyun continues to innovate and break new ground in the sector. To date, Yidianyun's device computing pool manages nearly one million devices, having cumulatively served nearly 50,000 enterprise clients. By reducing costs and providing highly flexible, scalable, and reliable services, it has become a trusted office IT infrastructure provider for enterprises, using advanced technology to drive worry-free, cost-effective, and hassle-free efficient office operations.
As a Yidianyun board member, Kaishi Chang of Source Code Capital commented: "Yidianyun is an innovation leader in the industrial internet space and a pioneer in the cloud transformation of IT infrastructure, holding a dominant position in the office IT equipment market. With cloud-based office operations as its entry point and taking a customer-centric approach, Yidianyun is building more flexible, efficient, and lower-cost IT infrastructure for enterprise offices overall. During the pandemic, when traditional offline procurement channels faced significant obstacles, Yidianyun provided users with timely, worry-free, cost-effective, and hassle-free computing configuration services, and its operational flexibility was increasingly validated. Founder and CEO Pengcheng Ji is a marathon entrepreneur with resilient, bold, and reform-minded entrepreneurial spirit. Source Code Capital has supported the company's growth and continued to increase our investment since 2016, and we will remain firmly committed to supporting the company's development and innovation going forward."
