Oak Robotics, a member of the Code Community, announced today that it has raised 300 million RMB in a funding round led by the industrial upgrading fund managed by Beijing E-Town International Investment & Development, with participation from Amber Capital, Jiuan Capital, and Haitong Capital. This marks another major institutional endorsement for Oak following investments from Source Code Capital, IDG, Tencent, and JD.com, bringing its total industry fundraising to a leading position. Source Code Capital was the company's sole angel-round investor.

This round represents state capital's strong vote of confidence in the industrial application of robotics technology, and a powerful endorsement of new-quality productive forces driving traditional industrial upgrading. AI-powered cooking robots are now moving from technology validation to large-scale commercial deployment.

Chinese Cuisine Digitization Technology Leading Globally

As the world's first company to achieve AI recipe generation at scale, Oak has built a complete technical chain from "real kitchen data" to "AI recipe generation" to "robot cooking."

The company's self-developed AI recipe generation system has accumulated nearly one million digitized Chinese recipes — the world's largest digital recipe library for Chinese cuisine robots — covering the eight major culinary traditions, regional specialties, and even some highly difficult intangible cultural heritage dishes with authentic cooking data. This lays a solid digital foundation for the preservation and global expansion of Chinese culinary culture.

Rapid Commercial Penetration Across Multiple Scenarios

Oak has achieved deep penetration across three major scenarios: fast food, full-service dining, and institutional catering.

Fast food: The company already serves the vast majority of China's leading restaurant brands including Chaoyisheng, Jiahe Yipin, and Lei Fan. Notably, Lei Fan, a top Hunan-based chain, has used Oak's AI cooking robots as its core model to expand by 500 stores within six months — achieving cost reductions while ensuring consistent quality across all locations. The robots have solved the universal headache of chains that are "connected but not locked in,"真正实现既"连"又"锁" (truly achieving both "connection" and "lock-in").

Full-service dining: AI cooking robots have entered listed company Xiao Cai Yuan and light-dining benchmark Qixian Xiaochu. Xiao Cai Yuan is using Oak's robots to faithfully replicate master-level Anhui cuisine. With the robots' back-kitchen management system, stores can accurately assess procurement needs while reducing labor and training costs, building a superior restaurant operating model.

Institutional catering: Oak has partnered with industry leaders including Jianliyuan and Manzuoer to deploy robots in cafeterias at China's top internet companies and large enterprises. Based on diverse employee preferences, they offer Southeast Asian, regional Chinese, and Western cuisines, already serving tens of thousands of employees.

Oak's newly built lean factory is now pushing toward a monthly production limit of 10,000 units, with capacity and delivery capabilities continuing to ramp up.

Dual-Wheel Drive: Service System and Globalization

On the service front, Oak has pioneered four industry-first service systems, established 90 regional rapid-delivery warehouses nationwide, and built a nearly 100-person team of AI chef coaches, after-sales engineers, and customer training specialists. The company has also built two intelligent production bases in South and East China to provide full lifecycle service to customers.

In global expansion, Oak has deployed equipment in dozens of countries including the United States, Australia, France, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. Its Chinese cuisine digital recipe library is now providing stable, consistent output capabilities for overseas restaurants.
