Designer Toy Platform Suplay Raises Several Million USD in Pre-A Round Led by Source Code Capital

The STF Designer Toy Online Exhibition generated over 3 million yuan in sales and drew more than 800,000 total views.

Designer toy platform "Suplay" announced that it completed a multi-million-dollar Pre-A funding round in the first quarter of this year, with Source Code Capital as the sole investor. This marks the platform's second funding round since its launch six months ago.

Suplay rolled out its own WeChat mini-program at the end of 2019, building an initial user base through features like lottery-based product drops and online blind box machines, while providing third-party designers with a digital sales channel. In May, Suplay hosted the STF Designer Toy Online Expo via livestream, featuring 80+ domestic and international designer brands. Over 130 new designer toy releases were offered exclusively or as first launches through Suplay's mini-program livestream, generating more than 3 million RMB in sales and attracting over 800,000 total viewers — a new industry record.

Founded at the end of 2019 by WanJun Huang, former COO of Modian, Suplay's core team brings extensive experience in designer toys and entertainment. Going forward, Suplay plans to deepen its vertical integration across the industry, leverage its resource advantages, and continue rolling out more products worth watching.
