Domestic logistics network platform Yimidida completed its Series A+ funding round today, raising over RMB 100 million. This round comes just three months after the company's previous Series A financing.

Cathay Capital, the internationally renowned private equity firm, led Yimidida's Series A+ round, with existing investors Source Code Capital, Prologis, and K2VC all participating.

"Yimidida operates in a trillion-yuan market," said Xingyun Yang, president of Yimidida. "Over the next five years, Yimidida will belong to more customers, more members, and more partners. Yimidida will become a comprehensive logistics platform valued at hundreds of billions."

Backing from Leading Investors

Cathay Capital is the first Sino-French private equity fund certified by France's Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), and the first growth fund specializing in the Sino-French market.

"The significance of this funding round lies not only in securing sufficient capital for our current development," Yang said, "but more importantly in ensuring a continuous flow of the funding and resources our enterprise needs to grow."

"Partnering with world-class international investment institutions helps Yimidida develop a global perspective and access high-end business resources worldwide, enabling us to better integrate advanced global logistics technologies and expertise with local industry practices to fulfill our greater mission and vision."

Prologis, a participant in Yimidida's Series A round, is the world's leading provider of modern logistics facilities and Asia's largest logistics real estate developer, with operations spanning China, Japan, Brazil, and the United States.

Source Code Capital is a leading early-stage TMT investor in China. Its limited partners include Xing Wang of Meituan, Yiming Zhang of Toutiao, and nearly 20 other CEOs of listed technology companies and executives from BAT, forming an industrial capital investor alliance called "Ma Hui."

"Ma Hui" wields considerable influence in bridging financial and industrial capital. Yi Cao, founding partner of Source Code Capital, has noted that "Ma Hui" enables the efficient connection of financial and industrial capital, as well as experience and ideas.

K2VC is one of China's most successful investment institutions, focusing on investments in Chinese technology companies and paying attention to advances in technology, business model innovation, and changes in people's lifestyles.

Rapid Financing to Accelerate Expansion

Founded in March 2015, Yimidida pioneered operating models such as network crowdfunding and capacity crowdsourcing. Through province-to-city direct routes and county-to-town direct access, the company has developed core products including "small-ticket express freight" and "large-ticket less-than-truckload shipping," supported by its advantage of comprehensive last-mile delivery coverage and seamless intra-provincial transshipment connections for dedicated line truck unloading. Through information technology, the company achieves strong alliances between leading logistics networks and quality dedicated line companies across different regions.

Jiang Wei, head of investment and financing at Yimidida, said the company's appeal to capital markets stems primarily from its strong-alliance business model. "We can achieve province-to-trunk direct and province-to-county direct product models, using our unique network resources to target market blind spots."

"Yimidida's member companies are all leading enterprises in their respective domestic regions, with deep accumulations in customer resources, regional markets, human resources, outlet networks, and dedicated lines. This means we can innovate on top of a solid foundation and compete for the future from a high starting point," Jiang said.

The proceeds from this Series A+ round will focus on network establishment in East China, team building, and IT system optimization and upgrades. With the support of capital, Yimidida will accelerate the optimization and upgrading of its national network.
