D-Robotics Raises $400M in Series C to Anchor Robot Infrastructure, Unity Ventures Continues to Double Down | Unity Ventures Portfolio News

XuRi Chip shipments surpass 8 million, revenue grows several-fold year-over-year

Unity Ventures early-stage portfolio company D-Robotics announced today that it has raised $400 million in its Series C funding round. The round was led by global investment firm Mirae Asset Group, with strategic investment from internet giant Meituan, and follow-on investments from government investment platforms including Hefei State-owned Investment, Shenzhen Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment, and Jingquan Capital, as well as leading institutional investors such as Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde Investment Management, Beyond Moore, and Xinchuang Phase II Fund under Qihang Investment. Unity Ventures, alongside returning shareholders Hillhouse, 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, Huangpu River Capital, Vertex Growth under Temasek, Prosperity7, Hermitage Capital, Yunfeng Capital, Meituan Longzhu, Jiuyang Family Office, Dunhong Capital, Kailian Capital, Boiling Point Capital, Monad Ventures, Digital Future, and Gengxin Capital, continued to increase their stakes.

The proceeds will be used to strengthen the full-computing-range product lineup of Xuanji chips, build an end-to-end software platform spanning data collection, model training, simulation validation, and inference deployment, and establish a hardware-software integrated embodied AI infrastructure to meet full-scenario development needs from mature product categories to general-purpose humanoid robots, empowering the explosion of robotics product categories.

Revenue Grew Several-Fold Year-over-Year in First Half

Cumulative Xuanji Chip Shipments Exceeded 8 Million Units

In the first half of 2026, D-Robotics' revenue grew several-fold compared to the same period last year, with cumulative shipments of the Xuanji series chips surpassing 8 million units. Its embodied AI business entered mass-production-level shipment stage, and its hardware-software integrated infrastructure completed large-scale validation.

The acceleration in commercialization is driven by concentrated adoption by leading customers. Since its launch in November 2025, the Xuanji S600 — with its single-chip full-stack computing power, highly reliable hardware design, and edge-cloud integrated development toolchain — has been adopted by more than 20 leading customers within six months, including Tashi Zhihang, Spirit AI, Independent Variable Robotics, ZhiZhi Tech, UBTECH, Paxi Perception, Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Company, and Xiaoyu Intelligent Manufacturing. Currently, D-Robotics' customer coverage in the embodied AI sector has exceeded 50%, with Xuanji S600 collaborations spanning humanoid robots, industrial wheeled robots, 3C flexible manufacturing, embodied large models, and full-modal perception, with most projects entering mass-production-level shipment stage.

As embodied AI accelerates adoption across diverse scenarios, D-Robotics is positioning its hardware-software integrated infrastructure as a critical foundation supporting industry advancement, empowering more embodied AI products to move from technology validation to large-scale mass production, and working with industry partners to jointly drive the embodied AI industry toward maturity.
