The humanoid robot's backflip just left the lab for the first time — starting price: 39,900 RMB

Unity Ventures portfolio company Noetix Robotics today released a new video showing its high-performance humanoid robot N2 performing consecutive backflips outdoors.

Noetix Robotics is dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of humanoid robots, with deep expertise in humanoid robot bodies and motion control algorithms. This demonstration of bipedal humanoid robots performing consecutive flips, jumps, and runs across multiple scenarios represents a collection of the team's R&D achievements over the past year — and marks the first time the high-difficulty backflip maneuver has been performed outside a lab setting.

The backflip represents a critical milestone in a robot's path to "adulthood," signaling precise mastery of core capabilities including motion control, environmental perception, and hardware design. This high-difficulty maneuver not only demonstrates Noetix's powerful motion control algorithms but also reflects exceptional hardware stability.

Additionally, the N2 achieves an engineering breakthrough in pricing, with a starting price of RMB 39,900. The company is reportedly preparing to begin mass production.

Although founded less than two years ago, Noetix Robotics already has three main humanoid robot product lines: the household Embodied Artificial Intelligence robot "E1," the high-dynamic humanoid robot "N2," and the bionic humanoid face device "Hobbs."
