"Raising Lobsters" Party: What OpenClaw's Viral Rise Really Means for AI Startups | Unity Ventures OpenClaw Meetup · Beijing

An Offline Gathering for "Shrimp Farmers"

The first AI buzzword of 2026 is undoubtedly OpenClaw. After the "lobster farming" phenomenon went viral, Agent became a digital assistant for more people, proactively delivering results — and a new startup ecosystem quickly emerged around OpenClaw.

On the afternoon of March 1, Unity Ventures will host the "OpenClaw Meetup" in Beijing. This is a hardcore gathering that rejects PowerPoints and confronts real implementation and bottlenecks head-on. The event will alternate between "3-minute developer lightning demos" and guest talks, breaking down information asymmetries and exploring the entrepreneurial logic and paradigm shifts following OpenClaw's explosive rise.

Only 20 spots remain — register now. Once approved, we'll send event details on February 28.

Demo Showcase

Eight native OpenClaw Agent projects will demo live:

Digital Life Evolution: An Agent blog experiment that no longer relies on human instructions and has begun spontaneously exploring the "meaning of existence."

Payment and Routing Reconstruction: Winner of a top global hackathon, with 3.4K GitHub stars — a routing solution using Layer 2 to achieve millisecond payments and 7-layer token cost optimization.

Industrial-Grade Automated Operations: When Agents take over enterprise CMDB and monitoring platforms, ops staff can mobilize multi-Agent coordination to resolve system failures with just a voice command.

WakeUp: OpenClaw directly connects to Whoop to read your body state in real time, detects when you're awake, and automatically generates and places the most suitable food order on Ele.me for your current condition.

Plus more experimental demos in development...

Beyond the demos, the event will feature multiple "one-click install experience projects." Participants can deploy quickly on-site, smoothly entering the OpenClaw environment to personally experience the full workflow from installation, configuration to running an Agent.
