Unity Ventures Japan Outing: Together We Go Further
Until the End of the World, Still a Passionate Young Soul
Exploring the world through the prism of our own footsteps.
The memorable and rewarding battles of 2024 are behind us, and we've gathered a sky full of stars. You have to walk farther to see better scenery. As 2025 begins, we've embarked on a five-day, four-night recharge trip to Tokyo.

Rising Above the Clouds
The first stop on Unity Ventures' Japan trip was Hakone, a hot spring town near Tokyo.
We found peace and beauty on the tranquil Lake Ashi, felt the pulse of the earth up close at the "active volcano" of Owakudani, watched billowing steam rise from cracks in the earth's crust, and tried the famous black eggs boiled in volcanic hot springs.

Recharged, we headed to Lake Kawaguchi for a hike. Mountains mirrored in the water — this is the best way to meet Mount Fuji, and we had arrived at the perfect season to see its snow-capped peak.

Mount Fuji's summit is perpetually shrouded in clouds; there may be only a few dozen days each year when the full mountain is visible.
The weather was clear on our hiking day. Though the howling wind added resistance to our trek, it also swept away the clouds above the summit, giving us better visibility.

Unafraid of clouds or wind — only by measuring the path with your own feet can you see scenery that words and images can never replicate.
We were lucky. But beyond luck, it was because we prepared before taking on the challenge, and more importantly, because we faced it together with people who shared the same goal.

New Year's Challenge
On the difficult but right path, walking alone makes it hard to persist; walking together, we can go much farther.

Forever Young at Heart

Next stop: Kamakura!
We climbed Enoshima, listened to waves crash against the rocks, and gazed toward the distant light.

Split into three groups to explore the island, we somehow all ended up at the same restaurant. After taking different routes, we arrived at the same destination by different paths.

Kamakura is an ancient capital steeped in history, and thanks to its appearances in countless literary works and anime, it's suffused with a youthful, artistic atmosphere.
At Kamakura Koko-mae Station, the iconic scene from Slam Dunk — one second and you're transported back to your youth, the familiar BGM playing in your head.

Maybe you still remember these lines:
Do everything you can do right now
No matter what difficulties you face, hold onto your dreams
Until the very last moment, never give up hope — once you do, the game is already over
...

Kamakura seems to have a kind of magic — the train can carry you back to moments you can't stop thinking about, bringing some kind of comfort or answer.
To the ends of the earth, still young at heart.

2025, We Set Off Again

There were so many moments worth treasuring along the way — everyone probably has hundreds of photos from this Japan trip on their phone.

Too many food photos to post them all
We've seen Mount Fuji and the sea, eaten our fill, and our batteries are fully charged. 2025 — restart, and rise!
