Unity Ventures portfolio company Rongsu Technology announced today that it has completed a new Pre-A++ funding round.
Rongsu Technology is a solutions provider focused on metal wire-feed additive manufacturing, with three core business segments: additive equipment, printing services, and additive software, all aimed at empowering hyper-automation in industrial production. The company's Laser One wire-laser additive manufacturing equipment has already been deployed in mass production, filling a domestic market gap for multi-laser coaxial wire-feed technology systems.
Over the past year, Rongsu Technology has secured three consecutive funding rounds totaling nearly RMB 100 million, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the metal additive manufacturing sector.

In early 2025, Suzhou Rongsu Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. ("Rongsu Technology") completed a new Pre-A++ funding round led by Ceyuan Capital. The proceeds will primarily fund deeper R&D in DED wire-feed technology, core talent acquisition, and multi-sector scenario-based partnerships — further solidifying the company's leading position in DED metal additive manufacturing.
Over the past year, Rongsu Technology has completed three consecutive funding rounds totaling nearly RMB 100 million, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the metal additive manufacturing sector. The company has earned continued confidence from Ceyuan Capital, Suzhou Xianze Litai Investment, and Qizhen Jiuzhi, alongside ongoing support from early investors Unity Ventures and Future Capital, with YiBai Capital serving as its long-term exclusive financial advisor.

Rongsu Technology founder Fangda Xu said: "This round is an accelerator for our deep technology work and scenario expansion. We've always been committed to building humanity's next-generation manufacturing systems, using DED wire-feed technology to improve manufacturing efficiency across the board. Going forward, we're focusing on two directions: First, we'll go all-in on advancing laser manufacturing technology R&D and application, aiming to boost existing manufacturing efficiency by 10 to 100 times. Second, this year we'll work with Space Transportation to pilot an AI-driven flexible manufacturing prototype production line, jointly exploring what hyper-scale distributed manufacturing could look like in the next era."
Founded in 2020, Rongsu Technology is a solutions provider focused on metal wire-feed additive manufacturing, with three core business segments: additive equipment, printing services, and additive software. The company independently develops wire-laser and wire-arc additive systems, offers DED additive software for process monitoring and path planning, and supports printing services for over 30 metal materials — all to empower hyper-automation in industrial production.
In 2024, Rongsu Technology introduced its independently developed multi-laser coaxial wire-feed additive technology VEAM, successfully breaking through technical bottlenecks in domestic wire-laser additive manufacturing. The Laser One system equipped with VEAM technology has already been deployed in mass production, filling the domestic market gap for multi-laser coaxial wire-feed equipment and achieving volume shipments.
Meanwhile, Rongsu Technology's 2024 revenue grew sixfold year over year, with over 600 DED wire-feed printed parts delivered, totaling more than 12,000 kg in weight — striving to inject sustained momentum into high-quality, high-precision global manufacturing through metal additive manufacturing.
