D-Robotics Unveils Embodied AI High-Compute Development Platform S600, Ushering in a New Paradigm for Edge-Cloud Integrated Robot Evolution | Unity Ventures Portfolio

Business outcomes "soared in both scale and quality," while ecosystem achievements spread across the globe.

Unity Ventures portfolio company D-Robotics recently hosted the DDC2025 Developer Conference in Shenzhen.

As a leading provider of general-purpose robotics hardware and software infrastructure, D-Robotics announced a comprehensive upgrade to its full-stack development infrastructure, driven by the embodied intelligence era's demands for extreme edge computing power and development efficiency. The company unveiled the S600 Embodied Intelligent Robot High-Computing Development Platform, slated for official release in Q1 2026, and introduced the D-Robotics One-Stop Development Platform — covering data closed-loop systems, embodied intelligence training grounds, and Agent development services — to accelerate robotic intelligence evolution through the integration of hardware and software, and edge-cloud synergy.

The launch of the S600 and the One-Stop Development Platform represents not only the culmination of D-Robotics' full-stack hardware and software capabilities and mass production experience, but also marks its establishment of a complete full-stack development infrastructure for high-computing general-purpose embodied robots — integrating hardware and software, edge and cloud — that continues to lead the transformation of robotics development paradigms.

At the conference, D-Robotics announced that Independent Variable Robotics, Fourier Intelligence, Booster Robotics, Robot Era, Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., LimX Dynamics, and GAC have become the S600's first global strategic customers.

Additionally, D-Robotics announced that automotive Tier 1 suppliers including iMotion, Tztek Star Intelligence, Huaqin Technology, Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd., Jinmai Electronics, and Simcom have become the first ecosystem partners for the S600, collaborating to develop robot controllers and accelerate the deployment of embodied intelligent robots across diverse scenarios.

"Embodied intelligence will become a new productive force driving industrial transformation, reshaping efficiency boundaries across all sectors," said Cong Wang, CEO of D-Robotics. "D-Robotics is committed to empowering our customers and developers with full-stack development infrastructure, building a solid foundation that breaks the industry's pervasive problem of reinventing the wheel, enabling them to embrace the coming wave of transformation with lower barriers and higher efficiency. We will work hand-in-hand with outstanding industry partners in collaborative R&D, technology innovation, application exploration, and ecosystem enablement to accelerate the technology translation and scenario validation of embodied intelligence, and close the commercial loop."

Breaking Through Computing and Efficiency Boundaries

A New Paradigm of Hardware-Software Integration and Edge-Cloud Synergy in Robotics Development

Hardware-software integration is the core engine driving intelligence leaps; edge-cloud synergy is the critical path to reshaping efficiency boundaries. D-Robotics leverages its full-stack development infrastructure combining hardware-software integration and edge-cloud synergy to comprehensively empower the large-scale deployment of robots.

On the edge side, based on its mature and continuously evolving BPU intelligent computing architecture, D-Robotics has built the Sunrise and RDK dual product matrices covering all computing tiers, steadily iterating to lead the industry into the high-computing era. On the cloud side, it has created a One-Stop Development Platform that simplifies robot development, combined with hundreds of continuously updated edge-deployable robot intelligence algorithms, helping customers and developers efficiently build competitive intelligent robot products.

The S600, unveiled at this conference as D-Robotics' flagship embodied intelligent robot high-computing development platform, delivers 560 TOPS* (INT8) computing power with an efficient and flexible large-brain-small-brain architecture design that has been deeply optimized. Its "large brain" features an 18-core A78AE CPU and the new BPU Nash, supporting efficient edge deployment of multiple embodied large-model algorithms including VLA, VLM, LLM, and Locomotion — particularly achieving 2.3x and 2.2x performance over mainstream embodied brain platforms when adapted for Pi0 and Qwen2.5-VL-7B respectively, meeting complex decision-making demands. Its "small brain" features a 6-core R52+ MCU, optimized specifically for humanoid robots with high-reliability, real-time motion control capabilities.

As a cloud development environment perfectly paired with edge intelligent computing platforms, the newly launched "D-Robotics One-Stop Development Platform" employs a "hardware-software integration + edge-cloud synergy" collaborative development system that fully addresses the full-stack needs of robot development for data closed-loop, simulation, model training and deployment, and development efficiency enhancement — making robot development simpler. The platform provides three core services:

Data Closed-Loop System: Provides high-quality, efficient data generation and annotation, driving autonomous robot evolution through a trinity of "model training — simulation evaluation — hardware-in-the-loop," already validated by dozens of customers;

Embodied Intelligence Training Ground: Focused on "all scenarios, all forms, all tasks" for embodied intelligence, providing full-stack support from infrastructure to applications to accelerate embodied intelligence deployment. As an industry-leading large-scale parallel embodied training ground, it has previously supported top-tier competitions including CVPR Challenges and RoboTwin;

Agent Development Services: Supports the creation of various Agents to assist robot development, assembling an expert team for developers to make robot development even simpler. Among these, the RDK Agent development assistant can even achieve "one-sentence robot application development and deployment."

D-Robotics also continues to innovate in frontier algorithm domains, combining with edge intelligent computing platforms through hardware-software integration to help customers and developers achieve efficient deployment of advanced algorithms at the edge. For example, D-Robotics' self-developed stereo vision algorithms lead the industry in SOTA metrics, with stereo Depth precision rivaling LiDAR, stereo OCC obstacle avoidance performance reaching autonomous driving-grade levels, and the industry's first multi-stereo panoramic Occupancy perception solution — the high-tier Omni-OCC solution — continuously empowering customer product deployment. D-Robotics continues to lay out key embodied intelligence algorithms, with its self-developed VO-DP pure visual Manipulation grasping solution surpassing industry SOTA in performance, with success rates exceeding DP and DP3, and generalization and robustness far surpassing Pi0.5, meeting industrial scenario application requirements.

"Lowering the barrier to innovation is the greatest romance of technology," said Chunxu Hu, D-Robotics' VP of Developer Ecosystem. "Today, large models are reshaping the robotics technology stack, and D-Robotics' goal is to build a bridge across imagination for every developer. By packaging complex computing power, algorithms, and tools into simple 'building blocks,' we hope to help developers 'solve 99% of the perspiration' so they can focus on the '1% of inspiration,' rapidly realizing the full journey from idea to creation to deployment."
