AI hardware startup Lxson recently completed an angel funding round led by IDG Capital, with Monolith, Matrix Partners China, ZhenFund, HSG, and Oasis Capital participating. The total funding raised came to nearly RMB 200 million, at a post-money valuation of approximately RMB 600 million.
Renjie Guo, founder and CEO of Lxson, said: "Ivy and Jinjian left me with an impression of being young, driven, and sharp. Our first conversation gave me an unprecedentedly deep understanding of myself and helped me face myself more honestly. Later, Oasis also supported me with talent recruitment. Oasis's thoughtful and genuine help in giving me clarity about myself became an important step in starting this new journey, and played a significant guiding role in helping me make the right choice. I am deeply grateful for that."
An investment lead at Oasis Capital said: "Lxson's powerful team DNA — the founder Renjie Guo's strategic leadership, bringing together technical leaders from hundred-billion-RMB enterprises and a new generation of innovative talent — this balance of 'depth of experience' and 'breadth of creativity' gives Lxson boundless vitality. With the global market as its coordinates, Lxson will redefine AI hardware and consumers' lifestyles through Chinese smart manufacturing. Oasis looks forward to exploring the value revolution of AI hardware together with Lxson."

Lxson was founded by Renjie Guo, former executive president of Dreame's China business. Born in 1997, Guo entered Xi'an Jiaotong University's youth program at age 15 (majoring in energy and power engineering) and the Jinhe Center for Economic Research, and earned his master's degree in financial economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He joined Dreame in early 2021.
Over the past three years, Guo led Dreame's China business from zero to RMB 6 billion in annual revenue, achieving triple-digit growth for three consecutive years and successfully completing the brand's premium transformation. In November 2023, Dreame became the number one brand in China's cleaning appliance market by market share.
The large model wave has been building for nearly two years. Starting in 2024, an AI hardware boom based on large models has begun — with sub-categories including AI glasses, AI toys, and AI headphones already seeing their first wave of brands, as both major tech companies and startups actively enter the space.
In terms of market positioning, Lxson defined itself as a global technology company from day one, with the ambition to create next-generation world-leading products and brands.
"Products that everyone will be using 30 years from now probably don't even exist today," Guo believes. The current moment sits within a wave of new technological transformation, with many potentially world-changing products still in their infancy — which is why he decided to start his own company now.
Lxson is initially positioned in the AI + consumer hardware market. Its first product is currently in development, with a preliminary decision to first target the geek/enthusiast market. "AI and robotics are advancing rapidly. I hope to draw on my accumulated experience in consumer products to explore the space for productizing technology from a different angle," Guo said. With robotics and AI as representative technological advances, a new generation of interaction-based products will emerge and quickly enter everyone's daily life.
As of January 2025, the Lxson team comprises 9 members, including a CTO from a hundred-billion-RMB market cap company, a 20-year veteran of the consumer electronics industry, and creative Gen-Z talent.

"We need to balance innovation from young people with the grounding of experience — enabling young people to come here and change the world, while holding ourselves to the highest global product standards from day one," said Renjie Guo, founder and CEO of Lxson.
Lxson's current funding round will be used primarily for product R&D and team building. The company is currently registered in Suzhou; Guo noted that Suzhou's complete manufacturing supply chain provides ample room for building Lxson's supply chain system going forward.
"In this first phase, our focus will be on technology R&D and consumer insights, working to build more competitive products. After that, we will gradually construct competitive moats, including self-development and production of core components, as well as channel barriers. At the same time, we will continuously embrace the best technology and the best partners, hoping to consistently create synergies where 1+1>2," Guo said.

Celebrating Vitality
What do you think vitality is?
Vitality comes from the drive to live life. The simplest test is this: go do the things that make you feel this life is worth living. I believe everyone will have a different answer. I hope everyone can create the conditions for themselves to do the things that make you wake up every morning full of passion, to pursue your own vitality.
