On the afternoon of December 18, Chen Jinshan, member of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Party Secretary and Director of the Lingang New Area Administration Committee, visited Oasis Capital's office at Xingyang West Bund Center.

Jinjian Zhang, Founding Partner of Oasis Capital, noted that the Lingang New Area benefits from policies supporting high-level financial opening, providing efficient and convenient channels for overseas capital to enter the Chinese market. In June 2023, Oasis Capital established its first Qualified Foreign Limited Partnership (QFLP) fund in the Lingang New Area. Positioned as a next-generation, theme-driven venture capital firm, Oasis Capital focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, and technology services, with representative investments including MiniMax, Boson.ai, Infinigence AI, and LimX Dynamics. Going forward, Oasis Capital remains committed to its founding mission of supporting China's technology-driven industrial upgrading, bringing in international patient capital to back the country's cutting-edge technology startups.

Secretary Chen Jinshan was briefed on Oasis Capital's venture capital deployment in frontier technology and innovation, as well as its cross-border fund operations. He pointed out that as a high-level talent hub, the Lingang New Area is building itself into a city of entrepreneurship and innovation, with a rich ecosystem of frontier industries well-suited for high-caliber, international talent to start businesses and pursue innovation. He welcomed Oasis Capital and its portfolio companies to set up operations in the New Area and grow together with it.
