LimX Dynamics Unveils Full-Size Humanoid Robot LimX Oli, Opens Pre-Orders | Oasis

Consultant Vitality

Oasis Capital portfolio company LimX Dynamics has officially launched LimX Oli, a full-size general-purpose humanoid robot.

LimX Dynamics' full-size, full-DOF humanoid robot LimX Oli

Standing 165 cm tall with 31 degrees of freedom (excluding end effectors), LimX Oli features a general-purpose configuration design, modular hardware and software architecture, and a continuously improving toolchain development system, providing comprehensive support for every stage from algorithm R&D to system deployment.

Targeting AI researchers, robot developers, solution system integrators, and other general-purpose robotics practitioners, LimX Oli comes in three versions — Lite, EDU, and Super — offering full-spectrum, efficient support for the training, validation, and deployment of complex perception, motion control, and interaction algorithms.

LimX Oli is currently priced at approximately 158,000 RMB and is now open for pre-order. It will also make its public debut at the World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing on August 8, with its first live demonstration.

LimX Oli priced from 158,000 RMB

LimX Oli adopts a standard 165 cm full-size height and a general-purpose humanoid configuration with 31 active body degrees of freedom (excluding end effectors), closely matching human form and locomotion capabilities to maximally adapt to task demands in real-world living and production scenarios. This configuration supports higher-complexity whole-body mobile manipulation control and motion generation:

7 DOF per arm

6 DOF per leg

3 DOF at the waist

2 DOF at the neck

Leveraging the dual advantages of a fully self-developed body structure and whole-body motion control algorithms, LimX Oli provides developers with a stable, reliable general-purpose platform suitable for research and training in gait planning, dexterous manipulation, multimodal interaction, and reinforcement learning.

LimX Oli's hardware and SDK interfaces are comprehensive, clearly defined, and highly open, with original user-friendly design achieving deep hardware-software modularity.

The hardware supports flexible disassembly and component replacement, compatible with multiple end effector types including two-jaw grippers and five-finger dexterous hands, as well as voice, vision, tactile, IMU, LiDAR, and other external devices, providing developers with multimodal input data sources.

SDK interfaces are fully open, supporting access to body state and sensor data, low-level joint control, and high-level task scheduling, applicable to diverse R&D scenarios from teleoperation system construction to imitation learning data collection.

Developers can achieve deep customization and rapid validation based on existing interfaces without modifying the underlying architecture.

LimX Oli features modular hardware and software design

LimX Oli supports cloud API calls integrated with local control, with motion libraries and controller resources continuously upgradable via OTA. Users can either invoke stable preset motion combinations or pursue personalized development, rapidly completing testing and demonstrations.

The platform is compatible with large model local deployment, featuring natural language interaction capability and multi-data-stream fusion capability, providing complete support for robot control strategies, multimodal understanding, and Agent construction.

LimX Oli supports personalized development

LimX Oli is one of the core products in LimX Dynamics' "IDS Ecosystem Strategy." This strategy focuses on serving three key groups: Innovators, Developers, and System Integrators, committed to advancing embodied intelligence from research validation toward practical deployment and scaled implementation. Building on an efficient, open general-purpose humanoid robot platform, LimX Dynamics provides powerful hardware and software support for "IDS partners," helping them rapidly validate technical approaches, shorten R&D cycles, and gradually form commercially viable solutions in scientific exploration, system development, and scenario integration.

LimX Oli's general-purpose configuration, modular design, and comprehensive development toolchain are the critical components enabling this strategy's execution.
