On April 18, Oasis Capital, together with CEOs and partners from several of its portfolio companies, visited Schaeffler China's flagship manufacturing base in Taicang, Jiangsu. They held in-depth discussions with Dr. Yilin Zhang, member of the Schaeffler Group Board of Managing Directors and CEO of Schaeffler China, along with his senior leadership team, on topics including the industrialization of embodied intelligence (AI hardware) and its future prospects.

Jinjian Zhang, Founding Partner of Oasis Capital, said that touring Schaeffler China's world-class factory was a rare opportunity. At a time when new paradigms are constantly shifting, this exchange marked an excellent beginning, with both sides demonstrating tremendous openness. Moreover, this visit to Schaeffler also reflects the value of kindness that Oasis has consistently upheld. We hope to use this visit as a catalyst — and a fresh start — to create more industry visit opportunities in the future and advance more equitable exchanges and collaboration.

Dr. Yilin Zhang, CEO of Schaeffler Group China, said that engaging with Oasis Capital and the founders of its portfolio companies not only deepened mutual understanding but also sparked productive exchanges of ideas on robotics and the embodied intelligence industry. In his closing remarks, Dr. Zhang expressed his hope to build deeper relationships with the outstanding entrepreneurs present and jointly explore new opportunities for technological innovation and development.

As a technology company focused on drive systems and a leading global supplier of industrial components, Schaeffler has established 13 manufacturing plants and two R&D centers in China since entering the market in 1995, making it a successful model of German enterprise localization in China.

The Taicang plant, Schaeffler's largest manufacturing base in China and a symbol of its advanced factory operations, was visited at a notable moment — the full commissioning of Schaeffler's New Energy Phase III project. The automated production lines, cutting-edge processes, and green intelligent manufacturing on site left a deep impression on the visiting delegation.

During the afternoon session, Shuo Duan Pan, Chief Operating and Supply Chain Management Officer for China, and Junfeng Huang, Senior Vice President of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management for China, shared detailed insights into Schaeffler's extensive experience and successful practices in supply chain management and procurement.

Xuda Geng, Product Vice President of Spirit AI Technology Co., Ltd. — an Oasis Capital portfolio company — also delivered a presentation on "The Tension Between Technology and Demand: The Path to Commercializing Embodied Intelligence," offering an in-depth look at the current state of the embodied intelligence industry, its commercial potential, and future directions.

Multiple companies participated in this visit, including Borey Technology, ZG Innovation, Inx Intelligent, Moma Intelligent, Shanji Technology, Lxson, and Wuyun Innovation.
