Oasis Capital Investment Lead: "CloudShape Geometry (TalentLand) addresses the massive supply-demand gap in cranial correction for Chinese infants through digital orthotics technology. By combining 3D cranial scanning and digital modeling, AI-assisted design, and 3D printing, the company empowers physicians to deliver one-stop, customized correction solutions for every baby, significantly improving treatment outcomes. Oasis believes that based on its accumulated data and empowerment capabilities in infant cranial correction, the company will bring better product and service solutions to Chinese infants and drive digital transformation across the industry."
A Digital Disruptor of Traditional Orthotics
CloudShape Geometry is a technology-driven digital orthotics service provider. Combining cutting-edge computational graphics AI algorithms, high-precision 3D scanning, and 3D printing, it addresses orthotic needs including cranial abnormalities, scoliosis, and flat feet through digital means — building a leading brand in China's "digital + orthotics" space.
"TalentLand" is CloudShape Geometry's first proprietary brand in the digital orthotics arena, with the mission to "correct the present, protect the future, and give every baby a head shape without regret." It develops next-generation smart infant cranial correction helmets, committed to pioneering a new ecosystem for infant head shape correction.
The upcoming TalentLand smart orthotic helmet is China's first independently developed Class II medical device approved by the National Medical Products Administration, designed specifically for Chinese babies aged 3–18 months, providing "one-to-one" customized cranial correction products.
Unlike comparable products, the TalentLand smart orthotic helmet draws on big data standards for Chinese infants' head shape characteristics and growth patterns, leveraging precise 3D scan data and AI algorithm-driven big data from correction cases to provide customized orthotic solutions for each baby.
Precise Market Insight into Correction Helmets
Some infants develop abnormal head shapes after birth. Medically, cranial abnormalities are typically classified by shape, with the most common being plagiocephaly (asymmetric head), brachycephaly (flat head), and scaphocephaly (long head). In everyday terms, plagiocephaly — or "flat head syndrome" — often occurs in babies who sleep turned to one side, with noticeable left-right asymmetry that may be accompanied by uneven eyes or dental bite issues. Brachycephaly is also common in China, typically seen in babies who sleep on their backs for extended periods.
A 2019 study in the top pediatric journal Pediatrics found that children who had moderate to severe head shape abnormalities as infants showed poorer academic performance and cognitive abilities (language, logic, spatial, etc.) at school age. Additionally, cranial abnormalities may cause delayed neurological development, restricted motor development, strabismus, and impaired vestibular function.
The principle behind orthotic helmets is to apply gentle pressure to protruding areas of the infant's skull during the period of high cranial plasticity, while reserving growth space on the flatter side — preventing further deformation from uneven pressure and allowing the head to grow into an ideal shape naturally. The US FDA specifies the correction window as 3–18 months.
Orthotic helmets represent a mature market in Western countries, with millions of successful correction cases. In the United States, there are over 1,000 offline orthotic clinics. In China, however, the market remains niche and uneven in quality. Some providers still use plaster casting on infants' heads for mold-taking, and helmet grinding and adjustment rely solely on technicians' craftsmanship and experience.
CloudShape Geometry enters this vertical market through digital orthotics technology. Its solution resembles the "Invisalign" model in orthodontics, involving four steps: scan, diagnosis, one-to-one custom correction planning, and 3D printing. CloudShape Geometry has achieved digital upgrades at every step, with all core technologies developed in-house — abstracting traditional orthotic craftsmanship into digital algorithms to enable quantifiable and visualizable correction plans, while also optimizing helmet weight, correction precision, and other dimensions.
Future Focus on Vertical Orthotics Brands
CloudShape Geometry has established its own GMP-certified factory. Founder Fan Luo earned his master's degree in software engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and previously served as technical lead for AI cloud services at Google in the United States. Co-founder Xulu Liu also graduated from Carnegie Mellon and has serial entrepreneurial experience in smart hardware. The team also includes industry experts from top-tier domestic hospitals specializing in pediatric plastic surgery and pediatric cranial development.
Regarding the company's development direction, Luo revealed that CloudShape Geometry will build more vertical orthotics brands in the future. "We want to push products to the extreme and truly benefit society. Going forward, the company will also launch scoliosis orthoses and flat foot orthoses, among other products, to protect the healthy growth of young people."

Vitality
What do you think vitality is?
Life conceives, perceives, develops, matures — cycles that repeat. Vitality is the internal drive of this endless cycle, the curiosity and exploration of the world. In the digital age, information is constantly acquired, stored, processed, and expressed. When an information system can build corresponding cycles, it too gains vitality.
