Oasis portfolio company LimX Dynamics has unveiled TRON 2, a new multimodal embodied robot.
Zhang Wei, founder of LimX Dynamics, has repeatedly emphasized at Oasis Capital's 2025 AGM and in multiple public speeches that the endgame for embodied intelligence will not stop at task-specific machines, but will evolve toward a general-purpose platform — like the iPhone: stable enough, with continuous expandability, enabling developers to build and iterate apps on the platform, making embodied intelligence a truly general-purpose vehicle for intelligence.
This has been one of LimX Dynamics' long-term strategic directions. The launch of TRON 2 is the company's latest product response to this vision.
TRON 2 features a single base body with three freely configurable morphologies, combining high-performance dual manipulator arms with all-terrain mobile bipedal locomotion. It serves as a "one-stop" embodied development platform for VLA research, mobile manipulation, and whole-body motion control across all scenarios and terrains.

Built on the design philosophy of a "general-purpose embodied robot base," TRON 2 adopts a full-body modular architecture. With just one base body, it enables rapid switching among three core configurations — dual-arm, bipedal, and wheeled-bipedal — and supports morphological reconfiguration into humanoid and quadruped forms. A single machine adapts to full-scenario tasks ranging from delicate manipulation to complex terrain navigation.

Based on household operation scenarios, it decomposes 10 typical manipulation tasks including meal preparation, desktop cleaning, garment care, item organization, and package retrieval, providing datasets, model training, and algorithm deployment examples.

Additionally, TRON 2 integrates a native data collection and management platform, covering the full closed loop from collection, training, validation to physical deployment, accelerating the research process.
