Hello everyone. On June 6, 2020, Oasis Capital got its first office. That was the day we moved out of our co-working space and into Times Financial Center at 68 Yincheng Road Middle. When we were designing the office, we had just one request: plant a tree. The designer lost it.
Over the past four years, the Oasis team has grown from three people to twenty. We've invested in nearly a hundred teams full of vitality — including companies like Yixi Biotech, Chenfeng Information, MiniMax, and LimX Dynamics, startups that keep pushing industry boundaries. More importantly, we've accumulated extensive expertise in growing maple trees indoors, making breakthrough after breakthrough on challenges like supplemental lighting, pest control, and air circulation in highly variable environments. In the end, our maples' robust growth and natural form won recognition both inside and outside the industry.
As our maple kept growing, we got a bolder idea: plant an even bigger one. The designer lost it again.
If Lujiazui is the center of Shanghai's financial markets, then Xuhui Riverside represents the future of the AI industry. If in the past we planted vitality atop finance, then going forward, we want to plant vitality atop industry. So we've decided to plant a tree at Xuhui Riverside.
We believe that the environment always rewards trees that preserve their vitality.
We believe that the era always rewards people who believe in vitality.
"New green" — the term itself contains infinite vitality. Nearly a thousand years ago, Su Shi wrote, "I arrive at the start of midsummer, the unwrapping bamboo shoots revealing new green." That shade of green transcends time and space, arriving as expected amid endless renewal. Oasis's philosophy is to nurture and pass it on. We hope to witness the vitality of those who yearn to realize their dreams — breaking through soil, sprouting, growing.
