China as a Variable Reshaping the Global Innovation Landscape | Oasis Capital x BRIDGE Summit

From December 8–10, as a Global Innovation Partner, Oasis Capital joined seven companies from its ecosystem — MiniMax, VAST, LimX Dynamics, Hypershell, Lxson, and Speediance — at BRIDGE Summit 2025 in Abu Dhabi, drawing significant attention from global media, government officials, and enterprises.

Over the past few years, we have kept returning to three questions: What kind of enterprises represent the next generation of innovative power? What kind of founders are becoming the core drivers of this era? And as the global technology and industrial landscape continues to reshape, how will the role of Chinese entrepreneurs transform?
Looking back at the past two decades, China followed a clear and efficient path: "Copy to China." In that catch-up phase, the market nurtured a cohort of critical companies — Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, Meituan — which rose rapidly in e-commerce, social media, search, and local services. Leveraging China's massive market and highly complex use cases, these firms built the systemic capabilities to operate at the hundred-million-user scale through relentless trial-and-error and rapid iteration, entering the global internet system and transforming how multiple industries function.
This was an industrial leap completed under a catch-up logic. Today, that paradigm is fundamentally shifting.
Chinese enterprises, engineering teams, and research institutions have entered the global first tier across multiple core directions. When "catching up" is no longer the central proposition, the real question becomes how Chinese innovation can become an indispensable force within the global order.
We believe that in the next wave of global technological transformation, "Innovation from China" will no longer be an aspiration, but a reality in the making. A new generation of Chinese companies is proactively entering global markets, defining new categories and building new systems on paths with no precedent; and the new generation of Chinese entrepreneurs will necessarily be technology innovators with global vision, willing to forge ahead even in complex environments.
At BRIDGE Summit, a global gathering led by the UAE government, we saw their preliminary answers.
At the event, MiniMax and VAST reached partnerships with multiple international enterprises and entertainment companies. Yachen Song, founder and CEO of VAST, was invited to a panel discussion on "Spatial Media in Practice," where he proposed treating content generation, image rendering, and interactive logic as a coordinated engineering system — redefining the place of spatial content within the technical architecture.

As a representative of "silicon-based life," LimX Dynamics' humanoid robot Oli and bipedal robot Tron 1 came into the view of senior UAE government officials, drawing close attention from researchers at international universities and extensive coverage from local media.

Lxson's independently developed WaWa — the world's first robot designed for courtyard camping scenarios — appeared in traditional white robes, engaging frequently with guests and demonstrating its stable operation in real-world offline environments.
One guest from Serbia even offered to buy WaWa a plane ticket home.

Turning to AI consumer hardware, Hypershell and Speediance products drew concentrated trials and procurement interest from local government agencies and media.

This response did not stem from conceptual hype. Rather, these products had already been validated through real sales and sustained use across multiple markets in Europe and North America, giving "next-generation consumer AI hardware" a substantive basis for serious discussion for the first time.

Meanwhile, Boli Technology, drawing on a library of over ten thousand materials developed across six years and proprietary ultra-high-speed 3D printers, presented its achievements in mass production and delivery for consumer goods, artworks, and high-end industrial applications including robotics and new-energy batteries — becoming a major focal point at the summit. The ruler of Sharjah, the third-largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates, extended an invitation for Boli to visit Sharjah for further cooperation discussions.

Additionally, other Chinese technology companies including Unitree and Huawei Cloud attracted substantial attention and discussion from attendees.
On the evening of December 9, nearly 90 representatives from enterprises, institutions, and governments across China, East Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America joined a closed-door dinner hosted by Oasis Capital, engaging in wide-ranging conversations on Chinese innovation, the Middle Eastern market, and globalization — discussing how to collectively push the boundaries of innovation across different systems and cultural contexts.

Taken together, these scenes reveal a clear trend: in the global context, the influence of Chinese technological innovation is undergoing a shift. The conversation is no longer limited to China's market and supply-chain foundations; increasingly, the focus is on how technological forces originating from China are reshaping the global landscape.

This is precisely the practical path that Innovation from China points to today: Chinese innovative power is not simply exporting isolated technical achievements, but is truly beginning to define the global future through technology. And we choose to stand where this change is happening, walking alongside entrepreneurs who dare to enter a complex world and bear long-term responsibility.
