On August 12, the World Robot Conference (WRC) wrapped up in Beijing. Following the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), this annual robotics-focused exhibition drew over 500 companies from around the globe, with combined onsite and online attendance surpassing 300,000 — making it one of the most closely watched editions since the conference began. Portfolio companies from Oasis Capital — LimX Dynamics, Spirit AI, Inxbot, and Lxson — participated in this year's WRC, each presenting their latest advances in embodied intelligence in their own distinctive ways. In recent years, as embodied intelligence technology has iterated rapidly, WRC has gradually become a bellwether for industry trend launches and frontier technology deployment. In the bustling exhibition halls, robots danced, delivered goods, and folded clothes across different scenarios, demonstrating the boundaries and potential of the technology under countless camera lenses.

In July, LimX Dynamics unveiled its new LimX Oli humanoid robot. From hardware design to control algorithms to versatile manipulation, the full-stack technology demonstrated solid capabilities, completing the critical closed loop of making embodied intelligence truly "usable."

This full-size bipedal robot stands 165cm tall with 31 active degrees of freedom. On stage, it performed multiple high-difficulty dance sequences and even demonstrated Chinese kung fu — powerful and fluid in its movements. Even in outdoor, unstructured environments, Oli maintained stable performance.

If Oli represents elegance and agility, then TRON 1 is the embodiment of rugged durability. During the crowd-favorite "push the robot over" segment, audience members shoved it from every angle, yet it consistently leveraged industry-leading reinforcement learning strategies to quickly recover and get back to work.

Spirit AI's humanoid robot Moz1 demonstrated fully autonomous clothes folding on site. Powered by the Spirit v1 VLA model, the robotic arm could precisely identify garment wrinkles and lighting conditions, adjust its grasp angles, and neatly fold clothes into compact squares. Even under dynamic disturbances, the robot could coherently complete multi-task operations, showcasing integrated capabilities in algorithms, perception, and control. Meanwhile, at the robot marketplace, Moz1 leveraged its solid technical foundation to dexterously complete complex actions like picking hawthorn berries and skewering them, guided by an operator's motion capture. At a JD.com sub-forum, CEO Fengtao Han delivered a keynote titled "From Present to Future: The Outlook for Embodied Intelligence Deployment," sharing his thinking on algorithmic breakthroughs, hardware optimization, and future planning, and offering several forward-looking perspectives.

Spirit AI was recognized for its outstanding capabilities and potential, earning a spot on the "2025 China Top 20 Most Investable Robotics Companies."

In outdoor home scenarios, Lxson's tracked robot W-bot became a standout attraction. With its large round eyes and flexible tracked design, it not only provided interactive companionship and carried items, but also served as a mobile power station supplying multiple devices, and functioned as a family follow-cam photographer that could generate AI videos with one click — beyond pure technology, it addressed the diverse companionship needs of family outdoor scenarios.

Inxbot's EC-DexHand-5F dexterous hand performed fine manipulations like unscrewing bottle caps and picking up coins on site, and even interacted with audience members by flashing a peace sign. This product launched in April 2025 and is currently the world's smallest humanoid robot dexterous hand with 20 active degrees of freedom. It employs a modular distributed design, integrating drive, reduction, and sensing functions into each joint module, achieving an excellent balance between size, performance, and control precision. Its finger joints can deliver maximum torque of 2Nm, with a maximum payload of 2kg and torque precision breaking through to 0.05Nm — sufficient to meet the high-precision manipulation demands of robots in everyday household tasks. In 2024, Inxbot's joint module shipments exceeded 10,000 units, growing 10x year-over-year in 2025. At this exhibition, the company also simultaneously launched its next-generation planetary hollow-shaft series joint modules.

This year's WRC extended the "presence" of embodied intelligence from the exhibition stage to real-world applications.

LimX Dynamics' stability in dynamic control, Spirit AI's task chaining under multimodal perception, Lxson's multi-functional integration across home and outdoor scenarios, and Inxbot's precision component upgrades all point to one signal — the maturity of hardware and algorithms is approaching the threshold for scaled deployment.

For Oasis Capital, what truly matters isn't the dazzling debut of any single product, but the closed loop formed by industrial chain collaboration, cost structure optimization, and market feedback. These shifts are redrawing the industrial coordinates of embodied intelligence, and they mean that competition in the next phase will increasingly play out in real-world deployment scenarios.
