ZhenFund angel project *Black Lake Technology* closes nearly RMB 1 billion Series D round, as industrial AI reaches commercial inflection point

Continue pushing AI agents into the core operations of factories.

Recently, Black Lake Technology completed a nearly RMB 1 billion Series D funding round. The proceeds will be used primarily to accelerate the deployment of industrial AI applications and global expansion, further driving the deep integration of AI with real-world manufacturing scenarios.

Since Black Lake Technology's founding in 2016, ZhenFund participated in its angel round and has continued to invest in subsequent rounds, supporting the company's growth all the way to the present.

The company has reportedly achieved full profitability, with annual revenue growth exceeding 60%.

Emma Yin, Partner at ZhenFund, commented: "In 2016, we invested in Black Lake Technology's angel round and have continued to back them in multiple rounds since. Over the past decade, Yuxiang and his team have stayed rooted in manufacturing, starting with digital production management and building deep expertise industry by industry, gradually establishing a lightweight, replicable product system and delivery capability. In the past two years, Black Lake's investments in industrial AI agents have begun to show results. Full profitability, revenue growth over 60%, and continued globalization — these numbers reflect a founder's long-term conviction in one thing. ZhenFund was fortunate to be there from day one. Congratulations to Yuxiang and the Black Lake team."

Over the past decade, Black Lake Technology has continued to deepen its presence in manufacturing digitalization, focusing on core production processes. The company has developed a lightweight and flexible product matrix and replicable delivery system, covering more than 30 industries including food and beverage, auto parts, and equipment manufacturing. This sustained, factory-close product practice has also laid the groundwork for Black Lake's industrial AI initiatives.

Since 2023, Black Lake Technology has been investing in the R&D of multi-scenario industrial AI agents, achieving scaled deployment across core scenarios including design, scheduling, production, and quality inspection — completing the evolution from AI-assisted decision-making to AI autonomous decision-making.

For example, the "Order-Splitting Agent" can automatically break down work orders based on drawings, process rules, material constraints, capacity status, and process bottlenecks, reducing what originally took 2-3 hours of manual work to minutes with over 95% accuracy. The "Quoting Agent" automatically performs cost breakdowns and generates quotes based on drawings and process parameters, compressing quote turnaround from six hours to seconds, helping factories increase inquiry response rates by 70% while keeping quote error within ±5% — significantly improving both quoting accuracy and profit margins.

Going forward, Black Lake Technology will continue exploring the boundaries of AI applications in core manufacturing processes. Zhou Yuxiang, Founder and CEO of Black Lake Technology, stated: "Black Lake will further push AI agents into the core business processes of factories, helping transform traditional, redundant capacity into data- and AI-driven new, flexible capacity."
