ZhenFund angel project Lxson completes nearly 500 million RMB Pre-A funding round, launches home embodied intelligence brand "Zeroth"

Lxson recently announced the completion of a nearly 500 million RMB Pre-A funding round and the official launch of its home embodied intelligence brand, "Zeroth." This round was led by Ant Group, with participation from industrial investors Geely Capital and 37 Interactive Entertainment, fund Yuanhe Puhua, and continued oversubscription from existing investor Monolith. The capital will be directed primarily toward in-house R&D across six core technologies, talent acquisition, and global market channel expansion. ZhenFund became an angel investor when Lxson was founded at the end of 2024 and has been a partner throughout.

Leveraging original technological innovations from its full-stack technical layout and a rapidly iterative approach to product-market definition, the company has secured orders exceeding 30,000 units, with revenue in the first half of 2026 surging 600% year-over-year, staking an early claim to a critical entry point in home embodied intelligence.

The Zeroth home embodied intelligence product line

As one of the first embodied intelligence companies globally to enter households, Lxson reached the top tier of the embodied intelligence field within just a few months of founding. The company recruited top Chinese scientists worldwide and efficiently completed a full-stack layout spanning six technical domains: body structure, embodied general models, VLA, joint modules, lightweight robotic arms, and consciousness biomimetic models. It also integrated a team anchored by consumer robotics engineers with mature track records to accelerate product pre-research, achieving full-scenario coverage of its embodied intelligence product line. Finally, through high-frequency user testing at the market end, it found product-market fit not through intuition but through actual test data.

Relying on full-stack technical breakthroughs, a high-speed iterative product testing system, and well-developed channel distribution, the company has rapidly established a complete commercial loop spanning "product definition, order signing, and mass production delivery," achieving efficient conversion of frontier technology into applied value.

Building on this new growth opportunity from the funding round, Lxson is officially launching the home embodied intelligence brand "Zeroth," aiming to redefine the industry's human-machine collaboration value system. At the same time, the Zeroth brand gave a major preview of an upcoming new Physical AI ecosystem for humanoid robots, designed to upend the foundational paradigm of the embodied intelligence industry with a disruptive ecological architecture and further solidify the company's leading position in the home embodied intelligence race.

Diverging from the industry mainstream that generally treats robots as either "functional extensions" or "labor replacements," Zeroth introduced a bold new brand proposition at its global launch: embodied robots should not merely be tools that execute tasks, but should become an "intelligent mirror" of human existence — companions in daily life, partners in exploring the world, and equals in conversation.

With the brand's official debut, Zeroth also unveiled two future full-size embodied intelligence products: Jupiter, a full-size humanoid robot aimed at becoming a general-purpose intelligent robot that enters homes for the long term as a companion; and N1, a home collaborative robot that pioneers a globally first-of-its-kind heterogeneous robotic arm solution in a lightweight design, exploring the path for collaborative robots to enter home environments first.

Full-stack in-house R&D is the core foundation of Lxson's rapid growth.

Company founder Renjie Guo entered Xi'an Jiaotong University's youth class at age 15, studying energy and power engineering, and became China executive president of a decacorn at age 26. He brings together deep technical expertise with top-tier product and commercialization acumen.

In just a year and a half, the company assembled a world-class team with R&D staff accounting for over 80%, with core members from leading institutions including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Mellon University, alongside veteran practitioners with over two decades of experience in robotics industrialization.

The company has achieved multiple world-first breakthroughs across its six core technology pillars — joint modules, lightweight robotic arms, VLA, embodied general models, body structure, and consciousness biomimetic models — and has already filed over 60 original patents, with invention patents exceeding 50%.
