ZhenFund angel project "SpacemiT" launches K3 chip, featured on CCTV-4's China News

Recently, CCTV-4's China News program spotlighted SpacemiT's January 29 product launch in a special report titled "Domestic AI Chips Begin Mass Delivery, Accelerating Compute Independence." The segment highlighted SpacemiT's new K3 — the world's first RISC-V AI CPU chip compliant with the RVA23 specification — along with real-world applications including humanoid robot stable locomotion and on-device inference for large language models ranging from 30 to 80 billion parameters. The coverage marks a significant milestone in China's chip breakthroughs against architectural barriers and the push for compute autonomy. Read more

ZhenFund angel project "Hokai Technology" signs strategic cooperation agreement with MIIT SME Center

On January 29, to promote the integration of digital intelligence technology with traditional manufacturing and support SME digital transformation and high-quality development, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's SME Development Promotion Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Hokai Technology in Beijing. Center director Weng Qiwen, deputy director Li Yan, Hokai Technology founder Zhou Yuxiang, and co-founder Xiao Zhe attended the ceremony. Read more

ZhenFund angel project "Not Far Future" surpasses 30,000 hours of home services

On March 9, Not Far Future Robotics announced another round of funding worth hundreds of millions of RMB. Since launching real-world testing in the second half of 2025, the company's robots have entered over 300 households and accumulated more than 30,000 hours of home service. From closed labs to real homes, from VLA end-to-end models to world models, from published papers to deployed models, to the formation of a data-algorithm flywheel — Not Far Future Robotics is steadily redefining milestone after milestone for general-purpose home robots. On February 14, the CPC Central Committee and State Council held the 2026 Spring Festival gathering at the Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a speech extending New Year's greetings on behalf of the Party Central Committee and State Council to people of all ethnic groups across the country, compatriots in Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, Taiwan compatriots, and overseas Chinese. Ge Qin, co-founder and chairman of WeView Energy Storage Technology, attended the gathering as a representative of the new energy industry and listened to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech. Zhejiang Provincial Organization Department Deputy Director Zhao Xiongwen leads delegation to research talent development at ZhenFund angel project "Hanwei Technology"

On February 4, global lidar leader Hesai Technology announced a strategic partnership with Southeast Asian tech giant Grab. Grab will become Hesai's exclusive distributor for lidar products in Southeast Asia, fully responsible for sales, customer support, and marketing in the region. Read more

ZhenFund early-stage project "Laiye" launches ADP SaaS V1.8 with three major document processing upgrades

On February 13, building on capabilities and customer feedback from the previous version, Laiye released V1.8 of its intelligent document processing ADP SaaS product. This update brings three major upgrades: ID card extraction now covers 11 additional domestic document types with processing time under 3 seconds per card and 90%+ accuracy; long-document extraction supports targeted range extraction with automatic source positioning; and prompt generation is optimized for higher-quality, more precise extraction fields. The ADP platform also now supports user-initiated top-up with pay-as-you-go and online payment options. On February 4, the 12th Global Auto Annual Ceremony concluded. Kai Yu, founder and CEO of Horizon Robotics, received the sole "Person of the Year" award at this year's ceremony — the only individual honor presented. Dr. Yu is the only entrepreneur to receive this distinction as a representative of a core supply chain company. Meanwhile, Horizon's HSD full-scenario assisted driving system received the "Special Recommendation Award," becoming a dual benchmark for both technological innovation and mass production deployment. Recently, National Data Administration Party Secretary and Director Liu Liehong chaired a series of symposiums to gather expert and industry input on advancing Digital China construction. Zhao Lidong, founder, chairman, and CEO of Enflame Technology, attended as a representative of AI chip companies and offered recommendations. He noted that growing compute demands for large model training and inference have made AI chips a core driver of AI and future industries, serving as the critical foundation and strategic pivot for Digital China.
