Premier Li Qiang Attends 2025 WAIC Opening Ceremony and Delivers Speech; Multiple ZhenFund Portfolio Companies Exhibit
According to Xinhua News Agency, on July 26, Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai, where he delivered a speech. Following the opening ceremony, Li toured the exhibition hall with foreign guests and representatives of international organizations, and engaged in exchanges with heads of relevant research institutions and enterprises.
This year's WAIC was themed "Intelligent Age: Shared Global Responsibility," featuring five major sections: conferences and forums, exhibitions, competitions and awards, application experiences, and innovation incubation. Multiple ZhenFund portfolio companies exhibited, including Mobvoi, Datagrand, DexForce, Laiye, Lexiang, Moxi, Enflame, Infinigence AI, X-Sight, Lightelligence, and Moonshot AI.

On July 26, China Media Group's major AI industry event, the 2025 China AI Gala, kicked off in Shanghai's Xuhui District.
The "2025 AI Person of the Year" selection targeted young AI strivers. The honorees were chosen by a recommendation committee of over 100 authoritative experts including academicians, scientists, economists, entrepreneurs, renowned investors, and chief editors of mainstream media. Chen Ning, Chairman and CEO of Intellifusion; Chen Weiliang, Founder, Chairman, and General Manager of Moxi; and Xia Lixue, Co-Founder and CEO of Infinigence AI, were all named to the list.
ZhenFund Angel Project Lexiang Technology Founder and CEO Guo Renjie Named to Venture Camp 2025 New Youth Venture Capital List
On July 18, Venture Camp released its 2025 New Youth Venture Capital List. After three months of applications and review by 12 expert judges from leading investment institutions, 30 entrepreneurial pioneers under 35 were selected based on candidates' growth trajectories and their companies' development potential, among other dimensions.
Guo Renjie, Founder and CEO of ZhenFund angel project Lexiang Technology, was named to the list of entrepreneurial pioneers under 35.
ZhenFund Early-Stage Project Nuro to Partner with Uber on Next-Generation Autonomous Robotaxi
On July 17 local time, Uber announced that it will deploy over 20,000 Robotaxis across the United States over a six-year period starting in 2026. The fleet's L4 autonomous driving technology will be provided by Nuro.
Nuro founder Jiajun Zhu said the partnership will use its latest fourth-generation driverless system, Nuro Driver. The Robotaxi prototype, developed jointly by Uber, Nuro, and Lucid Motors, is already being tested at Nuro's proving ground in Las Vegas.

On the afternoon of June 23, Sam Hou Fai, Chief Executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, led a SAR government delegation to visit EHang's headquarters, EHang Future City, in Guangzhou. ZhenFund Angel Project Levien Selected for Typical AI Applications in Biomanufacturing
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "List of Typical AI Applications in Biomanufacturing (First Batch)." Hangzhou Levien Biotechnology was selected for its self-developed all-atom protein generation technology that enables AI protein sequence design and industrial application, becoming the only company from Zhejiang Province on the first batch of the list.
Founded in September 2021, Hangzhou Levien Biotechnology is a technology company that uses AI algorithms to drive protein design. The company focuses on research into protein co-evolution patterns and "AI algorithms + wet-lab validation" projects, combining artificial intelligence to industrialize AI protein design and enable broader applications of proteins in production and daily life. Recently, Elephant Robotics released the mobile composite robot myAGV Pro. The myAGV Pro is an omnidirectional steering system vehicle under Elephant Robotics, compatible with the company's lightweight collaborative robotic arm ecosystem and most general-purpose collaborative robots on the market, capable of completing AI-related applications such as multi-target environmental detection and voice semantic recognition.
