ZhenFund angel project Qingteng Cloud Security launches world's first L4-level advanced security agent

On May 19, after three years of R&D forged in real-world combat, Qingteng Cloud Security achieved a critical breakthrough in the fusion of AI and security, releasing a technical preview video for the world's first L4-level advanced security agent — "Wuxiang AI." The video demonstrates how AI technology is redefining security defense and addressing the key challenges organizations currently face.

"Wuxiang AI" can autonomously plan tasks across more than 10,000 steps, completely and accurately reconstructing the entire automated attack chain from a hacker's initial proof-of-concept (PoC) through complex lateral movement to ultimate objective achievement. It no longer passively awaits instructions from human analysts; instead, it takes the initiative, suppressing AI with AI, achieving digital resilience through rapid detection, response, and recovery.

The vision of a team of tireless elite security experts providing top-tier protection 24/7, 365 days a year — "Wuxiang AI" is making this a reality. Through an automated defense system, human experts need only minimal oversight to safeguard an organization's critical security, freeing security teams from alert triage to focus on more strategic business assessment, system building, and security innovation.

ZhenFund angel project Synyi AI's AI clinic lands in Saudi Arabia, marking Chinese AI medical tech "going global"

According to a Xinhua report on May 13, the world's first AI clinic recently began trial operations in Saudi Arabia. The clinic is powered by a Chinese self-developed AI system at its core, with diagnosis and treatment processes assisted or led by AI, marking the first overseas deployment of Chinese AI medical technology.

Upon entering the clinic, patients are greeted by "Dr. Hua," an AI doctor on screen. The system collects basic information and medical history through interactive Q&A, precisely extracts symptoms, completes vital sign measurement with assistant support, and automatically generates preliminary medication plans for review and adjustment by human physicians. The clinic can already provide diagnosis and treatment for common diseases to local residents.

According to introductions, the technology behind this project is provided by a Chinese AI medical technology company. Relevant personnel stated that this innovative model will rapidly enhance supply capacity in regions with limited medical resources, effectively alleviating problems such as "difficulty and high cost of seeing a doctor." Synyi AI founder Shaodian Zhang noted that such breakthroughs hold tremendous social value globally, particularly in grassroots areas where doctors are relatively scarce.

This "going global" initiative is also seen as an important step in Chinese AI medical technology empowering Belt and Road partner countries. Saudi Arabia sits at a critical hub of the Belt and Road Initiative, and has also designated AI as a priority industry for economic transformation in its "Vision 2030."

On April 27, the National Conference for Commending Advanced Collectives, Model Workers, and Outstanding Workers in Industrial and Information Systems was held in Beijing. To inspire and motivate the broad workforce across national industrial and information systems to revere the advanced, learn from the virtuous, strive for excellence, and overcome difficulties — further strengthening cohesion and combat readiness to accelerate new industrialization — the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology decided to confer the title of "National Advanced Collective in Industrial and Information Systems" on 291 units, "National Model Worker in Industrial and Information Systems" on 373 individuals, and "National Outstanding Worker in Industrial and Information Systems" on 90 individuals. On April 25, Create 2025 Baidu AI Developers Conference concluded successfully at Wuhan Sports Center. As the world's first AI developers conference, Create 2025 Baidu AI Developers Conference has now been held for six editions, continuously driving technological innovation and reshaping industry landscapes. DeepGlint was invited to attend this grand event.

At this year's Baidu Create 2025 conference, Baidu AI Cloud and DeepGlint formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Baidu Group Executive Vice President and Baidu AI Cloud Business Group President Dou Shen, DeepGlint CEO Yizhou Wu, and relevant personnel from both sides attended the signing ceremony. The Luka Doctor AI learning camera was also on display and for sale at the AI product experience store. Recently, XtalPi's self-developed "Intelligent Autonomous Experimentation Platform" received prominent coverage from multiple national-level media outlets, not only appearing on CCTV's Xinwen Lianbo for two consecutive days but also being reported by the full media matrix of CCTV News, Xinhua, and People's Daily. XtalPi's innovative technological achievements in artificial intelligence and the application progress of its intelligent autonomous experimentation platform in biomedicine, new materials, and other industrial sectors have attracted widespread attention.

ZhenFund angel project Momenta reaches strategic cooperation agreement with Uber

On May 3, Momenta and Uber jointly announced that both parties have formally reached a strategic cooperation agreement to introduce autonomous vehicles onto the Uber platform, covering international markets outside the US and China. The first batch of cooperative commercial deployments will launch in Europe in early 2026, equipped with in-vehicle safety operators. By combining Uber's mobility network with Momenta's autonomous driving technology, both parties will accelerate the provision of safe, assured autonomous Robotaxi services to users worldwide.

Momenta CEO Xudong Cao stated: "We have already established solid cooperation with leading global chip platforms and vehicle manufacturers, and this collaboration with Uber, the world's largest mobility platform, perfectly fills in a critical piece of the puzzle for achieving global-scale autonomous driving. Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee inspects ZhenFund early-stage project UISEE's autonomous bus in Qatar

On May 12, during his visit to Qatar leading a delegation, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee made a special trip to Hamad International Airport in Doha to inspect UISEE's airport autonomous driving project on-site and personally experience the operational effectiveness of the autonomous bus. John Lee gave high praise to UISEE's innovative applications in smart airports and the practice of mainland-Hong Kong collaboration in expanding international markets.

As the first autonomous driving project to land in an airport airside operations area in the Middle East, UISEE has deployed L4-level autonomous buses and L4-level autonomous logistics tractors at Hamad International Airport. By integrating autonomous driving technology into the airport ecosystem, it achieves fully automated operations for passenger shuttle and cargo transport within the airport, building a full-scenario collaborative smart airport to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainable development.

ZhenFund early-stage project StarCompute successfully launches StarStream Series 275TOPS space-based computing intelligent payload

At 12:05 on May 21, the Lijian-1 Y7 carrier rocket launched from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone, successfully sending six satellites — Taijing-3 04, Taijing-4 02A, Xingrui-11, Xingjiyuan-1, Cube 108 001, and Xiguang-1 02 — into their designated orbits, with the flight test mission achieving complete success. Among them, Taijing-3 04 carried the StarStream 04Pro-S275 space-based computing intelligent payload developed by StarCompute.

On May 27, Forbes announced the latest rankings for the 2025 "World's Best Venture Capitalists" (Midas List). ZhenFund founding partner and CEO Anna Fang made the list again based on her early investments in companies including Xiaohongshu, becoming one of only 10 female investors on the list and having been selected for seven consecutive years since 2019. Additionally, she ranked sixth on this year's "Midas Seed List" of world's best seed-stage venture capitalists, the only Chinese investor on that list.

The Midas List is compiled by Forbes in partnership with TrueBridge Capital Partners. This annual list synthesizes public information and data submitted by hundreds of venture capital institutions, employing a data-driven selection methodology with broad global influence. Each year, the list selects 100 top venture capitalists worldwide who have achieved the most substantial returns in the industry through exceptional investment judgment.
